I've read the forums and SPs on the Hill seem to be reluctant working with asians. I'm Japanese-American and don't really speak Korean but I'm not sure if this is going to make a big difference. I'm kind of curious as to why they're so reluctant to work with local Koreans?

Anyway, I'm looking for any recommendations on SPs (on the Hill for logistical reasons) and a rough estimate of the cost; since I'm only here for a few days I'd rather be efficient with exchanging currency. I'd prefer higher quality and don't mind paying extra.

The Hill SPs generally avoid Koreans because: (i) some of them work on the hill instead of other venues in order to avoid the possibility of six degrees of separation working to reveal their occupation to friends and family, and/or (ii) they don't like the attitude and behavior of Korean players.

They are generally more accommodating of others, including especially Japanese. As a JA, you are potentially the best of both worlds in their eyes.

Young-Eun @ Y.E. Lotus doesn't usually play much herself anymore, but has a lot of Japanese trade to which she and her girls are very welcoming. Unfortunately, her shop may or may not be open; it seems to be closed a lot lately - which I surmise is because she is off travelling with her sponsor in Japan or elsewhere

Another good bet is Soo-ae @ Peach Phuzz who speaks passable Japanese and English. She would be my choice, but I'm biased.
