I followed the directions and advice for this place and it was spot on. Sillim Station, exit 8, a short walk and on your left.

In my limited experience, most places have no issues with foreigners, especially if you come across as a non-threatening (I. E. Non-GI look + smiling a lot).

I'd love to test my theory on room saloons too but I haven't found my way into that scene.

I'm no expert on the Hill but I've been up there a few times (okay, several times LOL). Anyway, there was sort of a new vibe up there last night and I mean this in a positive way. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the economy?
