I've registered on adal6 and was just wondering if any foreigners have had success on the site? How did you go about doing it. My Korean is very limited.

I have had success once. I found out a place and just gave them a call. The other person could not speak English but understood that I cannot speak Korean, so after 2 minutes he made some one else call me who could speak pretty decent English. He gave me his Kakao talk account. Said its around 200-230 k / hour. And also if you go to Seollung station (Exit 1) after night and stand around there you are guaranteed that someone would come in and ask you if you need a service, they are the room saloon people, but do charge a 30-50 k won extra if you are foreigner than general pricing.

I just landed in Korea and will be here for about 2 weeks. Hoping to connect with a mongering buddy- someone a bit experienced who could help me out. Went to Jinju / Pearl in Gangnam because I was staying again across it in Novotel.

I hate to say it, but you will probably have some difficulty booking an officetel girl. First off, most of the time you will need to call them and speak Korean, secondly, most places are not foreigner friendly, except maybe the Russian outfits. A decent number of officetel girls I have talked to will refuse non-Koreans. Lastly, due to the government cracking down more and more on the online scene, most outfits will not pick up the phone for phone numbers they don't recognize. Assuming all the stars are lined up and you get through and you can communicate, you will probably be limited to who you can see.

I was comparing the quality of girls that I have usually found in room salons to the quality of girls in Thai soapies. In general, the foreigner friendly places are the run of the mill anmas ala Fish and Ace. Room salons as you probably know are generally NOT foreigner friendly unless you go with Koreans, typically in a business meeting or after work type setting, OR you are Asian in appearance and speak basic Korean.

The best of the best are in room salons but unless you speak Korean or go with locals, it's generally not readily accessible to foreigners. That said, having about a dozen room salon experiences, quality wise you're getting about what you'd see in a top tier Thai soapy, with a Korean twist on the playfulness / flavor / etc. , so it's not like it's some kind of untouchable magical seventh heaven you're missing out on. Have done the whole Ace, Fish, and Eve Anma experience in Gangnam, and while foreigners do have access here, this is definitely the B and C team scraps. Feels like what they do in Japan in a lot of soaplands where the girls are mostly the ones the locals don't want any more.
