I actually went there yesterday and looked around for around 2 hours but could not find their red light district: I might just be bad at this but does anyone have some instructions on where specifically to go in Cheonho? You seriously looked for 2 hours and couldn't find it? A simple google search would've saved your time. Hell, even google image search 'Cheonho red light' and it'll show you a map.

Cheonho is completely safe. If you look when you enter A and be street, you'll likely see two or three guys standing around smoking a cig and chatting with each other. They are lookouts. The entrance to see street is also monitored by one or two guys. Yes, these guys are gangsters but really just there as bouncers and lookouts. So, no need to worry. There are also a ton of CCTVs aimed at the street. This will give shop owners time to shut down and usher girls away from the windows. I once entered Cheonho but all the glass doors were shut and no girls where inside. Wondering if the whole place went out of business I soon learned that the cops were in the area looking for a suspect. In about 15 minutes (probably after the all clear message) it was business as usual. So long story short, you have no need to worry about a raid. Muggings are also rare because again, there are so many CCTVs pointed everywhere. Seoul in general is very safe even in the early hours in the morning. The establishments / girls themselves have no motive to mug you because that would just bring the cops and nobody needs that.

STDs and STIs? Well, that is always a risk no matter where you punt.

Was up the hill this weekend for the first time in ages. Decided to try Avante Garde because I'd heard really good things about 'Kaye'. Not sure if it was her or not but they wanted 200 k. I refused and the next offer they made was 100 k for 10 minutes.

Ended up walking out. I hope it was just a once off.

Later had a few too many and went into some joint. Not really sure where but she was willing to let me try anal and I don't believe I paid any extra. Sadly the little man didn't want to stand up properly.

From what I've read on these threads (correct me if I'm wrong) the best red light districts are both the Cheonho and Miari Texas districts. Does anyone know how safe it is to go there and get some action? Safety as in not getting arrested by cops, mugged, or getting STD's (while wrapped). Thanks in advance!

I have posted on this before. In Korea prostitution is all over. It is just more difficult for non-Koreans to access. Walk around a train station or a large hotel at night. In alleyways you will see old ladies standing around seemingly doing nothing. They are pimping girls. They may not want your business. Approach them privately so that nobody sees you. That may help especially on a slow night. What to say? Agashi. The Korean word for girl. Or just use sign language for fucking. Come back in a couple of days and try again. After awhile you will get the hang of seeing the prostitution. I was in a town in the province and these beautiful girls would be driving around on scooters delivering tea. It took me awhile to get it. You'll get it too.
