I usually monger alone but Korea is very receptive to groups and some activities unavailable back in the states are just for non-solo groups (IE drinks+more in hostess bars etc).

Sorry for the late reply, was away from my computer for a bit. I would be open to it. The shirt rooms, NRBs, and host bars require a group and would be scary as hell to enter alone. But I can't figure out the messaging system and don't know enough about the forum rules though. If you have any bright ideas, I'm all ears.

I will report back that I've had good success getting a couple hyugatels and kiss rooms from opgani12 to send me their line-ups and start the reservation process. It's got to be 100% in Korean and I'm starting to pick up the lingo they use. About 75% of them asked me to call though to confirm which is where I hit a roadblock as I don't have a Korean phone but hoping to pick up a burner tomorrow.

Which place are you referring to? The Kiss Bang or Massage parlor? Both have been covered in this forum and others areas in Korea. The kiss place is where you can go make out with girls anywhere from early 20's to mid 30's, HJ, BJ, and FS available depending on the girl, YMMV. Some guys have been able to meet these girls outside for fun, as the girl was comfortable enough to give them their KakaoIDs. The massage is just the usual. Only thing I found different about this place is that you pay the girl separately for FS, I rarely visit Seoul or monger there so not sure if this is standard practice for all massage places there. Prices for both have been mentioned on this thread, so I'd go back a few pages for accurate pricing as I don't know them off the top of my head.

The phone number is also a kind of insurance. If a customer were to do something stupid, they could use the knowledge of the phone number and details on their government issued ID to track them down and punish them.

Such a high barrier to entry obviously prevents sex tourism, but they could care less because they have more than enough customers in country. Therefore, the only way for those not living in Korea to access these places would be if a Korean friend took you along as his plus one. Otherwise, you're totally out of luck.

Keep in mind that these services are extremely difficult for even non-Korean residents to access.

Regarding your other question, DCinside contains some info about the sex industry written in Korean. In one of my past reports, I posted a link to a particularly informative article I found on their site.

Again, appreciate the info. Found that article in one of your past posts and had a good read. DCInside is a maze even to someone who has a decent grasp of korean. Some forums are used regularly and others have dust collecting from years of disuse. Do you know if there's particular slang folks use to talk about this or a specific forum where this is discussed? The article you mentioned was randomly in the southeast asia part altho it discusses korean domestic use. I guess maybe sex tourism discussion is just higher in that forum and it bleeds over to this?

Also, do you know if the eSim + phone numbers you can only get at the airport would suffice for the sites on opgani etc? That seems to be the only way to get a korean phone number as a visitor without an ARC, but I'm not sure if that'll be some sort of strange number that IDs you as a visitor that agencies will filter out.

Otherwise I'the have to borrow other people's phones or go with someone basically LOL.

They're independent so there isn't really a norm. If you ask about their service the more professional ones will send a premade image or text with more details. You should just ask if they allow multiple shots. I'd assume that it's an extra charge but depends on the girl. Some reviews mentioned some girls being cool with it.

Are there going to be signs around town that say "Hyugetel" (or "rest tel") in Korean? I have no idea where to start the mongering in this city. I've seen a number of "massage" places advertised all over (and I assume those are the happy ending types) and one place with the spinning barber pole (which I heard is basically code for a brothel?) but nothing about Hyugetels. Also from reading on this site and others, it seems like the massage parlors I have found don't even usually offer what I'm looking for anyway, or do they? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

As a tourist, you'll only be able to access RLDs and massage parlors, and even these are not sure things.

Concerning RLDs, note that few reports have been written up recently. This is because the biggest and best RLDs (Suwon, 588, and Cheonho) have closed and the remaining ones are under intense pressure from government, land developers, and civic groups. YDP, Hooker Hill, and Miari are mere shadows of what they used to be.

As far as massage shops go, they are everywhere. Whether they're genuine massage shops or fronts for prostitution can be hard to establish. Lucky for you, some have been written about on this forum. Use the search function to see what you can find, but keep in mind that no matter where you go, YMMV.

Try as you might, you won't find hyugetels anywhere. They're all hidden within residential buildings. Imagine a long concrete corridor. Imagine that the corridor has 20 to 30 doors leading to tiny studio apartments and that the building has 15 identical floors. Behind two of the doors there are women, working in so-called Hyugetels, waiting for a phone operator to send men to their studio apartment. As a civilian, you would never know they existed, and as a tourist, no matter how hard you try, you simply won't have access to these places because the phone operators won't deal with you.

Of the airports or if you're a long term resident with an alien registration card. ESim options are very limited unless you're at the airport (skype calls show up as a different number and get denied, and idk about other things like callhippo. Any advice?

Opgani looks like a purely review site oriented around different agencies, whereas this site for example has a place for broader discussion. I'm interested in where to access just general seedy or frank convos from korean netizens that aren't blocked by censors.

Out of the very few times using massagerepublic, I've always been able to ask for a price well below 300 k without any reluctance. Even down to 200 k. I think it helps if you look presentable on your messanger app's profile, if you're not concerned with appearing anonymous.

I don't frequent Seoul much, but I'd say stay in Itaewon. The Hill is there and plenty of foreigners, as well as Korean girls who like foreigners, tend to go to the bars / clubs in that area.

Pretty much most massage parlors will give you what you want, not sure if you're a Gyopo, White, Black, Indian, Hispanic, or of some other Asian descent. But they may deny you depending on your ethnicity and the time of day that you go. Read the forum, lots of info and not much changes. Rule of thumb is that if the massage place has dim or red / pinkish lights when you walk in then expect extra services. They'll always ask if you want extra service, or if you pay over 100 K WON upfront at reception, then just know that you're probably in the right place. Besides specific ones that have been mentioned here, it'll be fairly easy to find a massage shop that offers extras. Also, expect most of the Itaewon shops to cater to your needs.

Keep in mind that if you are not Korean, the taxi drivers will try to overcharge you late at night and not use the meter. So be ready to barter / haggle, you can try and use the phone app "Kakao T" which is basically their Taxi service, kinda like "Grab".

Yamap7 is trustworthy, but there is a better site at Opgani12.com. It has more listings, it is updated more regularly, and there are lots of user reviews. However, you have to sign up for an account to access it.

The only way to get scammed is if you pay before you enter the premises. So, do not, under any circumstances, pay with a bank transfer. If you send money to someone, just count it as a loss because it's as good as gone. These are cash businesses, so you will always pay at the door or when you meet the woman. If you pay before you meet the woman, as is common at anmas and massage parlors where you fork over cash to someone working behind a counter, you might be disappointed with the woman provided, but you won't be outright scammed.

The anmas you mentioned should be a safe bet, but the women who work there will likely be at the end of their 20's or even in their 30's. I've not been, but from what I've read they offer great service and all the customers are required to wear a condom, so no need to worry about STDs. I also understand that asians from all over the world are welcome to visit these anmas. Donut anma, in particular, is even paying for an advertisement on a Singaporean sex forum, which further underscores how welcoming they are. If you've got the cash to burn, anmas are among the easiest way to pay for play in Seoul.

If you want to book from an online site, Kakao and Telegram can be used to get the conversation started, but almost every service requires that you eventually call or text from a cell phone number registered in Korea. The anmas you mentioned, however, might be willing to let you book an appointment using Kakao and Telegram. However, from what I've read, most foreign visitors are walk-in customers.
