Dabang age: Average late 20's, early 30's. At least the ones I seen (at night). I will have to see if hotter girls work during the daytime.

The thing that really throws me off is, I've befriended and even dated some Korean working girls in the US.

Thanks to all who have replied to my report. I wanted to provide some basis of what is out there in 2011 since there appeared to be just a real heavy focus on Itaewon lately, and provide an avenue for people with more information to refute and add on to what I have stated.

So I think it is pretty confirmed that Yongsan RLD is pretty much dead. But Cheongnyangni A-Row has the best lookers for those who are korean. And we now know that Miari is still hopping all around and has enough girls that a foreigner can score. There has been some bad articles on the internet that Cheongnyangni is being shut down. But I guess it's exaggerating things a bit over some land in the area that's being taken over for expanding the train station. I don't see the need for anyone to make a trip to Yeongdeungpo as it feels a bit sketchy in the area and the Shinsegae dept store is believed to have declared war on the district.

I hate the fact that these officetels are now where the best looking girls are at now. You put too many of the lookers in one area of the spectrum and then the rest gets thinned. The fact that places like Cool and Belle no longer has the quality that it used to, tells the story. I need to come back again as an english teacher or something and try and crack this officetel nut. I love the idea of spending $300 and being treated like a King with girls who are on the very right end of the bell curve.

Having attended a college with lots of koreans, I always found them to be plain looking and not too attractive. But being in Korea there are so many attractive ones. For Koreans, it appears like they have moved on from RLDs and have Americanized. That means the action has become mostly costly, and operate through escort services and massage parlors and room salons. All of the internet sites that show this information are in Korean and as someone who can't really type or read Korean all that well, I can't work myself searching on Daum and Naver. Mongering will become harder and harder for us English speakers going forward.

So I did what people who don't need FS (out of convenience or fear of STD) went to the Gangnam Bang Bang Junction area. For those looking for a GFE rub with HE, there's plenty to try. If one place doesn't accept foreigners (waygukins) try the next one. With so many choices in one area, you can't miss.

To get there take the #3 line to Yangjae station and exit #3 (look at the map and head towards Bang Bang Junction (Sa-guh-ri). This is a major intersection and you will see the Prudential Building, a Starbucks, a Dell store and a huge clothing store called Bang Bang. You can also take the #2 line to Gangnam station, exit I think #6 and head towards Yangjae Station, look at street signs, can't miss it.

Head in the direction of the clothing store and you will find Cool and Raining Man. You enter through the place that is a car wash and you will see a sign directing you to either place. Go a little further and you will find Angel and in an upper floor you'll see a legitimate looking massage place, that prolly has a shady side. Cross the street you will see Belle and in the building next to Belle you will see another massage place called 1/2 Massage I think. Head in the other direction of the intersection and you'll see a huge massage place that looks like a love motel, called Rain Massage I think?

The HJ joints (which the attendant referred to as "soft-touch") never have barber poles, don't even advertise as massage sometimes but the giveaway is that it's named with exotic words and as shops that normally don't say anything else (Cool, Angel, Belle, Raining Man, Ivy, VIP, Cleopatra). They operate primarily though appointments but go there before 5PM on a weekday or weekend and they should squeeze you in. You know you are at one when you have to buzz to get in or be denied entrance. Cool was 75, 000 won. Which I think is the most expensive because they have the prettiest girls I think.

I think if you act like you've been there and know what you are doing and know some korean, likely you will have success getting in. You take off your shoes, change into slippers, go into a room, change into a robe, take a shower and buzz the attendant. Then you wait a few minutes, then chat with the girl, get a short massage, roam your hands all around, get your happy ending and a vitac500 or juice. Like with everything in life YMMV. Sometimes the girl may stay fully clothed, but usually will at least be topless, some places fully nude with a short BBBJ. If the girl likes you, you should be able to touch everywhere, if not then you may face resistance. These places are tolerated by the authorities because they don't involve G2G contact.

Korean girls who work at these places have doll faces, and even girls with implants are still relatively small but you may find a thicker girl with awesome naturals. Koreans are bony in the rear unlike the ladies of Japan who typically have some back. Don't believe the age they tell you as K-Girls age very slowly and 28 year old girl can very well pass as a 22 year old. If you add 5 to the age that you think they are on first glance, you are probably right.

As for barber shop pole places. They are not the same as An-Mas and shouldn't be referred to as such. Barber poles attached to a Sauna, are likely legit and usually involve hair cutting and massages given in a public bath or jimjilbang. Barber poles pointing to a location in the basement or upstairs is probably the ones you need for the good stuff esp if they are still open past 10pm. Places on the ground floor usually cut hair although may have a secret room attached for additional services if the outside windows are frosted. If you aren't picky I think these are good places to relax for 40, 000 to 80, 000 won. Barber poles that spin around a little slowly and says stuff on it are for sports massage places. They tend to cost more but offer better services. If it spins real slow and has a picture of a woman, they are beauty salons that only cut hair.

Actual An-Ma places (soapy massage joints with FS) are not that easy to find but are around. But be fearful of crackdowns and shelling out over 100, 000 and often 180, 000 won for a girl that may not be all that hot or friendly may not be the best. Locals probably frequent places where they possibly make reservations in advance for girls they know are good.

I haven't been inside a Love Motel, but I guess they operate through street girls around the places and through call girl services. I imagine business cards inside?

Everyone's dream is to be able to go to a high end room salon and take a girl for 2cha afterwards. But who has that kind of dough, unless it's on the company card. Noraebangs and DVD bangs are sometimes a poor man's room salon in disguise, but when getting a helper don't expect a stunner.

Anyway, here's a quick tabang guide:

1. You call the tabang service. The motel I was at had their number all over the tissue boxes.

2. Tell them what motel, your room number, and what kind of drink you want. Coffee is cheapest (10, 000 won or less).

3. When girl comes, just hang out with her if you want and then ask for 2-cha. I was quoted 150, 000 won each time. Negotiating is not recommended.

4. If you're Korean, and can pass for Korean, BBFS is 99. 9% available. Every girl but one asked me if I used a condom. The one girl who didn't told me that I should always use a condom, and then while doing it asked if I wanted to do it without the condom. Personally, I would use a condom just because more and more Korean men these days are going sex touring in other countries and bringing back STDs.

5. This is just pure speculation, but one girl told me that customers at night are very difficult because they're drunk and can't get off easily. I told her that she should work in the day, and she said that other girls already worked during the day, and like the day better because of more polite customers. This makes me wonder if the girls in the daytime are hotter. Something I will explore further.

The girls I saw in Korea all looked nice with their clothes on, and looked like normal Korean girls. The ones at the anma may have looked a little bit more fashionable, but all of them, when they took their clothes off, was kind of a disappointment.

To those asking about officetels, sorry to burst your bubble but if you cannot speak korean, it will be impossible for you to locate and book these services. Officetels work on discreet information (sometimes not so discreet on the way they advertise their services online. But still you need a korean social security number to be able to view these information) and you need to be able to speak korean since you have to book their service. You cannot just turn up to any officetels since first of all, there are millions of officetels and most of them are housed by normal koreans and second of all, these places are pretty busy these days since officetels are the 'trendy' thing these days. Maybe if you have a korean acquaintance, he can help you out. Usually around 130k for 1 hour. 1 pop. There's one in gangnam that does 150k for 1 hour. 2 pops, about 10 girls working. Alot of restrictions though, most places will not allow bareback (if you are into that) and drunk and rowdy people are usually kicked out. Need to keep your manners.

Full Salons are a mix of Buchangdong style hardcore sex establishments plus an added 2cha afterwards. Again, hard to find these places if you speak no korean (taxi drivers will claim to not know these places, unless they are sponsored by an establishment. And only then will take you to the place that will pay him to take you guys there) , but these places are again are the 'thing' these days. 300k for everything, you get wiskey (beware as some places give you fake wiskey, and make sure the bottles are sealed) , girls. 2cha. Some places have special events called the hwangjae (king in korean) , pretty much means threesome. You get what they call lip service in the rooms, drinks, fun and play for as many pops as you want (if you are tired, they will keep sucking your johnson until it goes hard again. Their aim is to drain the guy as much as possible until he is beyond satisfied) , then after this 1st round, you go to 2nd round which is basically 1 on 1 with the girl in a room. Not bad, and definitely good value for a good night out. Some of the bigger places in gangnam have over 100 girls working in one night, will be impossible not to find one that you like.

Search these forums for Miari and you will find a lot of information. Should cost you 70K. 100K won for short time (1 pop).

Back from Korea but I'm going back again next month.

First of all, Zacardy. Could you find the information on sex motels? Or even how to find them? Also an updated report on RLD would be great too and I'd so appreciat eit.

Preface: I am Korean and can speak it well enough that people don't suspect anything except that I might be an idiot when I use words wrong.

I first stayed in Kangnam and I thought it'd be easy to find some hot Korean girls. Boy, was I wrong. I walked around all around Yeoksam, and I saw a lot of pink signs, but they were for restaurants, dentists, skin clinics, hair salons. Everything but.

Then I saw a couple of places that had "Ma Sa Ji" or Massage but I did not want to waste my time on something that might not be a sure thing. Also saw a Thai Massage place but I have no idea what that means and I wanted a Korean girl.

I picked up those fliers of naked Japanese girls, but they were for officetels and I don't know how I'd even find them even if they gave me an address. I was hoping to find one for chuljang massage (or outcall massage) but nope.

I thought about hitting up a room salon as a last resort, but I'm not that rich.

Finally, I hailed a taxi and asked him to take me to anma. He seemed taken aback, saying I probably didn't need to take a taxi to find one, but.

200, 000 won for 60 minutes.

220, 000 won for 60 minutes with multiple pops.

250, 000 won for 2 girls. 30 minutes each.

30, 000 won for sleepover (?) and 15 minutes of something next morning. Not sure what that meant.

Anyway, they provide you beverages, a locker room, a shower area and everything. But here's the most shocking part.

There are four floors to this place at least, each with at least 10 rooms. I don't know if each room actually has a girl working inside of it, but there must be a lot. Each floor has its own manager and each room is a big bedroom with its own table shower!

WOW. This was like a luxury massage parlor. Or maybe all Korean anmas are like that?

I went a couple of times, and I was on a different floor each time seeing different people. Some people may feel uncomfortable with seeing so many waiters and managers, and they all say "Goodbye" at the end in unison when you leave. Also you'll probably see other Korean customers there as there's a lounge area and stuff and the locker room and the shower area. If you're a shy type of person, you'll be a little shocked but you'll get used to it.

Okay, the girls.

First of all, they provide a mean table shower massage and baby oil bodyrub and fuck if that's what you want. Just like you see in those Japanese soapland videos. Or you can do it on the bed.

HOWEVER, I left underwhelmed.

Second report:

I was in Gwangju and stayed at a motel because it's cheaper. They had tissue boxes with numbers to Dabangs (coffee girls). For 10, 000 won for coffee plus 150, 000 for the whole thing. I called one up and just gave my room number, I guess they knew where I was from caller I'd.

Girl showed up. Not knockout but not ugly. She was young at least. She told me the whole system, and when I tried to negotiate. She told me that I should just see a prostitute instead.

I won't recommend going to cool if your standards are really high. The quality of women right now is a little low compared to before. I would wait until the summer season. I've seen about 7 of the girls there. 2 were okay but not spectacular. I know the employees and they told me they showed me the best so I know there isn't anyone better.

I've been to belle (not recently) but the girls are not great over there. Unless you don't really look at face much. You can find girls in the 5-7. 5 range at belle. I've seen 9s and 10s at cool before.

I went to angel once and walked out after seeing the girl. The place doesn't seem to clean either. Not going there again.
