Was really hoping that he didn't fit the stereotype, as many had warned me. However, unfortunately as K dudes get older they often become more jaded towards foreigners with their chicks (regardless of how much time they spent overseas).

Don't be disappointed, you just can't rely on anyone but yourself. I live in Korea and my personal mantra is that the more you stay away from having male Korean friends the better your chances of scoring with their women.

To be more clear, unless you have something they want are you ever going to have a real male Korean friend? Absolutely NO WAY!

Finally, after many years of wanting to fulfill my curiousity, I attended a Korean booking club. VIP room was 250,000won total (included 5 beer, 1 bottle whiskey, and Korean snacks), almost half price of Seoul booking clubs.

Good Luck with that!!! With that sort of kongjupyung, the only way she is going to learn is by being humiliated, with all the drama that likely would ensue. Best to let it alone. Second best way is NOT buying her out for the purpose (she still gets the dosh), but ostentatiously having a go at one of her co-workers. Then, if there's drama, you get to watch it rather than be enmeshed in it.

Personally, 99% of Korean girls/women leave me with a bad case of limpdick, which has to be cured when I leave the country.

My only close Korean friend of 8 years (met back home first before coming to Korea) convinced me to go to a 20’s only booking club in his hometown (1 hour from Seoul). VIP room was 250,000won total (included 5 beer, 1 bottle whiskey, and Korean snacks), almost half price of Seoul booking clubs.

Started at Western bar (had no people AT ALL), and got digits from the bartender who spoke fluent English, with by far, the most enjoyable conversation I have had with a Korean woman (especially of such beauty). My Korean friend also liked her and I could sense that he was going to make a play as well (got owner’s business card so that he could call her later).

This set the pace for the evening. He promised me no-one else would come, since I stressed the importance that the waiter would only usually pull 2 girls at a time to our room, and it is harder to close the deal (and separate) with more people. I drilled our strategy over and over. I even set up and paid for joining Penthouse rooms in nearby hotel by booking club. Lo and behold, his high school Korean-American buddy was waiting at the door when we arrived (baseball cap and all). To make matters worse, the bouncers stated that “no foreigners” were allowed. Of course, my K friend had assured me that this policy was not in effect before I even considered going. In fact, we went early to reserve the VIP room, and I requested to talk with the manager in advance. Smart move, because manager came to the door later and let us in when bouncers refused.

We all agreed to separate our girls by utilizing the in-room bathroom, and take the other one to dance floor outside. This way the remaining guy could conduct business in the room (not full on of course, waiters check the rooms to make sure everyone has a girl). Rules were: If you offer (or girl requests) beer, it means no interest. If you offer (or girl requests) whiskey it means game on.

Bookings:
1. 3 girls. Mine was young freshman University student, extremely cute (other dudes were envious). Great rapport (even with my very limited Korean). However, her friend didn’t like arrogant attitude of K American guy, so she left. Exchanged digits, and mine soon followed.

2. 2 girls. Nothing for me. My K buddy tried to pawn his girl off on me (was not a looker). She had an English tattoo with the words “Capricious”. She had no clue what it meant. (LOL) My Freshman girl came back and saw her talking to me, and stormed out (dammit).


3. 3 girls. Mine was superhot. Tall, fantastic body, great attitude, and really fun. We made out dancing in the room. Once again, K buddies were jealous (see where this is going . . .). Her friend didn’t like my K friend, so I exchanged digits (she lives in Mokdong), kissed and the girls moved on.

4. 2 girls. Not bad looking, long muscular legs (were professional bowlers). K American dude didn’t seem interested, tried to pawn off to me (token gesture), but she felt more comfortable with him. My K buddy was smitten with his. So I tried to scout out a single for me. Strangely, no girls would come to the room without a waiter dragging them, with them kicking and screaming not to go (ridiculous protocol). Of course, by this time, the club knew a foreigner was present. Hence, no more bookings for me. I even asked countless waiters to help me out. No dice. Eventually, I was frustrated and asked my K buddy to assist. No luck. At this point, I was feeling pretty uncomfortable and realized that I was not going to get any play. K American dude kept stating he “wasn’t interested” in his, but everyone ignored my suggestion to get some new bookings (told K buddy to get digits and move on).

5. My K buddy appeared stressed (since I was not pleased about not hooking up), and requested waiter for 1 girl. Waiter obliged (for him), but next one didn’t drink, so we sent her packing.

6. 2 girls. Mine was young Uni student, cutey style. His wanted to go Ozzie land to study English. Did the switch, sang/rapped to some songs (karaoke). Holding hands, little kissing, etc. My K buddy kept going outside to take calls from his previous girl waiting at soju spot with K American dude (who still claimed he wan’t gonna lay pipe-even though he then took them to hotel). Of course, the girls picked up on this, so I exchanged digits, and they moved on. My K buddy came back, asking where they went. Duh . . .

7. Went outside, tall S line hottie watching dancefloor (on 2nd floor). Spoke English, pulled her back to room. Her friend was booked, so she was waiting. Convinced her to come back to hotel with me (5am now), but needed wingman for her friend. My K buddy had soon disappeared (left to wingman K American dude), although he had paid the bill. Of course, my girls weren’t going to leave the club to a hotel with a foreigner and no Korean guy. Exchanged digits and left.

8. Frustrated and drunk, I left the club, and scouted for barber shops. 2 had truly nasty specimens, 3rd wasn’t able to see until too late (paid 70). Just wanted massage since the quality was truly nonexistent (especially after being with young meat all night). She really wanted to bang, but I told her to focus on the massage (so she burnt my back with scalding hot towels-heh). Went back to hotel and released watching lousy Korean porn.

Of course, both K dudes scored. Now the reason for my uncharacteristic long post is I am truly tormented on how much of this was the K broads being worried about foreigners (or lack of language maintenance) or due to my K buddy breaking our agreement. My sense is that he catered to his rich high school buddy’s needs first (characteristic of Koreans), knowing full well that I had come all this way to his hometown to make this happen (I had no problem paying for a nightclub in Sinchon-close for both of us). Moreover, he is trying to get an investment deal from K American dude. Either way, he was my last great K hope in some sort of redemption for all the K cock-blockers I have experienced over the many years. It was also a trust building exercise to see if he would cater to the “Koreans” or his commitment to me (important before considering working together in big business projects in future-been giving him small ones).

Or am I just pissed because I couldn’t get laid . . . .

As I indictaed in my previous comment on Pilot 58s post, my previous experiences in these places all suggested that one could only expect to get anywhere in these places when your group was dropping some really big bank in them and the girl thought she had a shot at some longterm "sponsorship". I'm not ruling out that the latter is still a factor, but things certainly have changed in the former respect.

Further to Pilot58's recent report and my comment thereon, I recently had an opportunity to check out a several of these venues; the results were surprising and very unexpected.

A very old friend had arrived in town on his first visit to Korea and was keen to be introduced to the local "men's infrastructure". Before launching him into slam-dunk alley with a few surefire recommendations, he treated me to drinks at some of the places mentioned by Pilot 58, viz., Black Orchid, Justin and On Y Va. They are all located on the north side of Itaweon high street in the block just east of the Hamilton Hotel. We spent about 45 minutes in each over the course of the evening. Not sure why - maybe I was emitting very high levels of the right pheremones after a late afternoon session of deadlifts? - but for the price of about 3 ladies drinks at each joint (paid for by my buddy) I managed not only to get three sets of digits with explicit requests for dates but three unsolicited calls the next day for the same. All three were way above average in the looks and personality department and spoke good English. Unfortunately, I was not in a position to really taste the water, though.

Tried Cool today. The manager looked to me like the same guy from my last visit one year ago, but he confirmed that they no longer accept foreigners, or at least non-asian. Gyopos and japanese are probably OK though. The place seems very busy, a group of young Koreans was coming in when I left, so I guess they can do without waegook income.

So I went to Belle instead. For those who don't know, you can reach these places by Taxi going to "Bangbang sageori" or from Yangjae station exit 3: go straight north downhill on the large road, then turn left after 5 min walk, at the Prudential tower. Cool is about a hundred meters up on the left, Belle is just a bit after on the right side of the road.

Price at Belle is 70k, the service is a body licking, short BBBJ and then HJ finish by a cute young korean girl wearing only panties. Lots of touching and cuddling involved. Unfortunately, I found out that after 2 years away I'd forgotten most of what little korean I knew, which made communication a bit awkward, but the experience was fun anyway.

Next up, I'll try some RLD. Cheongyangni is the closest commute-wise but lots of bad reviews so I'll probably do Miari or Yongsan instead.

According to one report, Cool is under new management and no longer foreigner friendly, but I'm totally checking it out tomorrow night. Had a great experience there last year. I'm staying near Lotte World tonight and I'm going to scout the area for barber poles.
