No, they wouldn't go through the trouble to nab *a* john, but if they've got a cellphone with a few hundred numbers in it, that's worth their time for a big bust and get their name in the paper. There's always one or two such busts a year just to show the public they are "serious" about cleaning up Korea. It's all bullshit, of course, or else the RLDs would be history. How else are the cops going to line their pockets with bribes?

I work with various immigration offices and sometimes through them other offices like labor and pension... you'd be surprised just how many fake degrees are still circulating despite the "checks". Fake or (more likely) misleading criminal checks, too. KCUE is useless, and will continue to be as long as other countries have privacy laws on their books. People don't get caught because of these checks. They get caught because they did something stupid, get investigated more closely, and the fakes are found out in those investigations purely by accident.

Immigration does these types of stings every time they catch someone who sells fake degrees: grab his phone and investigate everyone on it as if they are suspected clients. A tried and true Korean investigative technique.

Even though I would never say it's impossible, it's highly unlikely that the police would go through that kind of trouble to nab a john. I doubt that the circumstantial nature of a text conversation would necessarily lead to some legal trouble when the police could just as easily nab a john who enters into a RLD establishment for P4P. It just doesn't sound practical.

In the case of drugs however, it would be a totally different story.

just curious but has anybody here given their mobile numbers to rld girls or anma girls? i'm a half korean-half japanese guy who grew up in america but has been living in korea for the past several years (but my korean is pretty fluent and my accent is good as well).

i've never been to anmas, but i have frequently visited cheongnyangni rld several months ago. the thing with me is that i only stick with one girl (pretty sad indeed, but that's just the way i am). we seem to get along really well, maybe cause we are the same age (surprisingly she showed me proof).

the first time we met, she gave me her contact card which had her mobile phone on it. i wasn't planning on calling her since it seemed kind of fishy, but she grabbed my mobile phone and called her own phone with it. after that, she often texts me and i text her whenever i will go visit her.

however, i regret giving her my number. i haven't told any of my korean friends about this since i'm embarrassed about it even though majority of young korean men go there. but my question is, how bad is it that a rld girl has your mobile phone number?

i'm wondering because i'm afraid of what's going to happen if there's a crackdown. would the police confirep001e all the girls' mobile phones and check all the clients that called/texted them and arrest them or fine them?

over the years of having visited girls working in the rld, particulary miari, dozens of girls have given their numbers as well as haven taken mine. in my opinion, there are two purposes as to why they give and take your number. one reason might be that they genuinely enjoy spending time with you and possibly have a liking to you. however, the second reason is that they're interested in procuring regular clients to pad their salaries.

on another note, i think going to the same girl over and over again is a total waste of your time and money unless you are interested in developing a more "serious" relationship. if the girl is really serious about you, she'll meet you outside of work and you guys would go on "dates" where money is not expected. on three occasions that has happened to me where i've met working girls outside and it was just a regular date that ended with a nice nightcap and no money was expected. however, i did treat them like a girlfriend and we would have a good night out together.

as for concerns about whether or not having your number on a working girls phone has no impact on whether or not you'll get in trouble with the police in my opinion. unless you blatantly text about yourself being a client and the girl is having you as a client, you'd basically have nothing to worry about. how could the police prove that you are a customer and you are her client based on text messages alone? practically impossible.

Don't let that hold you back. I've read on other boards that, at night, both this sauna and the one at the Hamilton are like gay "pick up" places, does anyone know if this is true or not. Itaewonland is just around the corner from Homo Hill, so It wouldn't really surprise me. I like going to a good jimjilbang like at the Sporex, but...

I read something about Hamilton hotel on another board myself. But from my one visit to Itaewonland, I'm certain the place doesn't harbor fudge packers. No way. It was chock full of Korean families and positively oozed a 'neighborhood spa' vibe. From inside there's no hint of a foreign district surrounding the place so I doubt seriously they'd tolerate sodomites in their midst.

I don't think anything has ever been posted on those places. Seoul really isn't a big international destination, so I doubt there would be much action in the hotels here, and if there is, it's probably geared towards the Japanese, since they seem to visit Seoul the most. I don't think I'd want to have to compete with Japanese mongers; one would need to be a big tipper and hung like a stud-flea to get any action.

I bet you're right. Part of the reason why I'm going for it. Two years of intensive mongering in Bangkok spoiled me - I'm not interested in lots of action so much as I am in simple transactions. Watching the young turks canvas the girls last weekend at JJ Mahoney's was a hoot, but I left the place reminiscing about a knockout BKK freelancer who worked the bar at Sheraton Sukhumvit. There, two sips into my cabernet and she floated across the bar to let me know $100 could buy her services.

I suppose I'm a gourmand for pussy - I'd rather drop 500,000 won on a 5* freelancer than bang 8 skanks on the hill for the same won.

Used to be €50 in FKK and ₩600k in Hooker Hill, which is about times and a half.

50 Euro to enter, 50 Euro per 1/2 hour session (plus E25 extra for extra services, e.g., anal, CIM; I always went for at least one extra). I was at Yin&Yang (Roermond) and Golden Time (Bruggen).
