Thanks for the offer. I won't be able to make it tonight or tomorrow and I will be leaving on Sunday. Anyhow, I will give "Call" a try again tonight and I may go to Belle or the other "Massage" place mentioned in Superhero's list.
I will try to hook up with you next time coming to Korea.

Posts: 52From my reading of this thread the ONLY hotel bar mentioned is the Hyatt Itaewon bar. That leaves way too many hotels unexplored in Seoul.
Has anyone tried the Ritz Carlton bar for freelancers? I noticed they've got some very attractive weekend rates. All I need is the promise of hope.

Sounds simple enough right? I would suggest you ask the concierge or bellman if they could arrange something for you once you've checked in.
I suggest this because last week, during a sauna outing with a Korean friend, he mentioned there were at least two hotels in the MyeongDong area - both catering to Japanese tourists mostly -that frequently arranged for women to be sent to the rooms. Your hotel is in this area and caters primarily to a Japanese clientele.
You have nothing to lose and much to gain, I say.

Can't help you with other suggestions in the vicinity of the Intercon, but recommend that you consider other venues, esp. Itaewon, which is a sure thing. It's only a 30 minute subway or taxi ride from your location, and there a lots of choices that you can scope out before buying. The drawback is that the actual settings are not as nice as the anma and there is no soapy massage, etc. Two places for you especially to consider are Peach Phuzz (Soo-Ae) and The Moulin Rouge (Hee-jin, the owner), if you fancy them. More expensive than the typical anma, but apart from the absence of the bathing experiences, both far superior in terms of what you're really after. Careful w/ Heejin, though, she will try for really big bucks; stand "firm" (my sense is that business is slow, so you should be able to prevail).

Posts: 4I went to "Call" according to Kimchin Warrior's direction. I think I found the place, but they turned me away because I don't speak a single word of Korean. Do I just play it wrong or you really need some Korean skill to get in?
Other than "Call", any other interesting place near Grand Intercontinental?

What's foot traffic like on the Hill for Tuesday or Wednesday nights? Many mongers about?
For that matter, how well-staffed are the businesses on those nights? They sparcely-worked ghost towns?

I stay in Hotel Imperial Palace in Gangnam-gu and there a big Massage house with the Evian building, at the other side of my hotel. The place is located at Unju-Ro street.
Are there any people who have tried theservice yet? How much the full service cost?

Posts: 12Tried to find this place according to the map on their website. I went to the area and did not see anything close to it. Is it possible they are in apartements or office buildings with no signs posted?
