PS,
I have enjoyed reading your posts here. While it is sad to see and experienced monger such as yourself leaving, I have to agree with your reasons for doing so. I have spent about 10 of the past 20 years coming (or should I say cumming?) and going from this place. As you stated, the mongering aspect of Korea has gone downhill steadily. This can be seen by the lack of reports in the various section under the Korea heading. Please keep us informed on possible better prospects for where you end up after leaving this sh*t hole.
Happy travels!

PS,
Safe travels friend. I appreciate all the recommendations, warnings, and otherwise entertaining bits: especially on places off this rocky peninsula.
I'll monger on in your name for then next year or two until I finally break free myself and can indulge in monthly trips to Tijuana and quarterly "business trips" to the LOS, PI, and maybe even Indonesia.
Peace,
KORVET

*sucks kimchi from between teeth and hoiks it on the ground* Ladies and gents (and ladyboys), after many long years of living on this queer, penis-shaped appendage at the end of Asia, I am pulling up stumps and moving my loins to greener pastures. I would like to say that it's been fun, but that would be lying, and that is bad. I have mongered far and wide, indeed I would like to do so farther and wider, but alas, I have had reason to stay here for the last five years. Sex has not been one. It never fails to amaze me the dedication that some have in continuing to post on this oft-forgotten corner of the ISG, which is somewhere in popularity between the forums on Albania and fisting. I'm sure there are some who are just looking for a fly-by-night experience when in town on business, others who (like myself at a point) were stuck teaching and had no other outlet, or even those who are oddly masochistic, but I still shake my head in disbelief that I did, and others continue to pay for sex in this country.
Why, you may ask? The girls here are hotter than an applicator full of firey jack stuck up your Jap's eye, cute, giggly and highly fuckable. Be that as it may, those self same ones are not in the P4P industry (at least not the part accessible to weygukin kind) and even if they are, you pay like a Scottish sailor desperate for a whiskey in Saudi Arabia for the privilege. What is more, when you do get the odd looker who will deign to dine on your dirty, diseased foreign semen, she is inevitably so stressed at the experience and wishes you to blow your muck and get out of there yesterday.
Then there are the declining options. I first moved to a mid-sized provincial town some years back and found myself with a string of interesting choices. Over time, rather than opening up, the Noh regime-sponsored fatwah against fun seemed to reduce these in number. Half a dozen rub-and-tugs with top service and good price suddenly reduced to half that number. The upscale places, well, 200 000 for what I described above ruins most of us if partaken in the frequency someone with a pulse enjoys, and the mid-range ones suddenly went all xenophobic, just not with the blase and casual nature of the past. They now tell you the girl's bojji is up on blocks, the massage table burnt down, or some other such nonsense.
I always marveled at the false economy of cheap sex vis-a-vis going abroad to get it, being as I am, from a remote corner of the world. Shelling out thousands on airfare, accommodation and sundries just to get a $20 shag and boast about it seemed absurd (the boasting part anyhow). That is, until I got here. When one considers that 2-3 anma visits covers the cost of a flight to SE Asia and another 2 or so will cover the rest of the hanky panky, you again begin to wonder, "why the fuck do we pay for it here?"
Sure there are new bits of the market popping up with the challenges of containment. But again, price and quality preclude me getting off my arse to try them again. After all, who wants some malnourished dullard of a Korean university chick looking bored as she tugs your plonker and demands a few ton for having done so? In short, this place is on a sharp decline and is only good for making bank and getting out to places where the girls are darker, friendlier and cheaper. Staying here and paying is the pits.
Hasta Luego.

Posts: 30Any places in Dongjak Gu area?
Hey,
I'm here for a few months and wanted to know if there are any anma's or coffee shops in the huksok dong area. It's just a quick trip across the bridge to Yongsan, but anything local that someone might know would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Posts: 1Gangnam Gu and Coex area
Hi, I will be in South Korea for few days at the end of November.
What kind of services are available near Gangnam Gu and Coex Area?
Is it possible to bring a girl to your hotel or any hotel?
The delivery coffee or tea girls are a possibility if you do not speak Korean?
If you ask the concierge about the sex industry, is he going to help you?
I do not speak Korean, but English/Chinese/ and bit of Japanese, what are my best options?
Thanks for the help.

Posts: 18I've tried cheongnyangni RLD and some handjob places at gangnam but I'm thinking about taking it a step further and trying out an anma. Maybe around 120, 000. 180, 000won at gangnam. I'm a korean-american and my korean is above average so I don't have to worry about any foreigner related problems. I was just wondering if there are any clean places. Because one of my coworkers went to an anma (not sure which one but it was at gangnam) and he ended up with STD even with a condom on. Pretty scary. Oh and also, is titty fuckin allowed in anmas? I always wanted to try that out. Has anyone?

Posts: 51Excellent Waykook Saram you covered what I missed! I also have the experience of girls running away as soon as they see me, this is most often because they're afraid to be forced to speak English with me and they're not comfortable with that. Most girls will relax once they hear I can speak Korean, but of course the occasional girl simply doesn't like foreign guys at all. You can ask the waiter to bring girls who are interested to meet a foreign guy, I did that and I got a girl who was all over me instantly But as Waykook said, go with Korean guys. Not other foreigners, actually if you are about 4-5 guys you should be the only foreigner in the group. If you are all foreigners you will probably get in if you can all speak decent Korean but it will definitely be hard to get bookings in there. The foreigner hunting freebees mostly hang around Itaewon and Hongdae clubs and girls usually won't expect to meet foreigners the Night Clubs (Naiteu in Korean).
But with that said, I think the booking club is a better way of meeting girls than the normal clubs like in Hongdae. This is because girls go there with the intention of meeting guys, that's the whole idea. In the clubs many girls are just out to dance and enjoy with friends and it's also easier to talk with many girls in one night at the booking club. So for foreigners with Korean friends and who can speak Korean I would definitely recommend it.

Posts: 11Red light, Yongsan, and the crack down
Someone mentioned Red light, it is now closed.
Drove through Yongsan yesterday, its open I'd say at least 80% of the A rowers were out for business, interestingly not many customers.
Went to a DDR(University hand job place) in Kangnam today and the owner told me that the crack down is pretty much finished. He said all shops in Kangnam were hit and that now the heat is over. Apparently the government is even giving the shops some time to make money before they issue the fine. Kinda find this ironic. But hey at least they're open. So Cool, Angel and Belle are fully operational. Good hunting

Posts: 32Le Lion is correct you are going to need to go in a group and you need language skills.
There are many clubs but an easy to find one is Mool, it just south of the river over the Hannam bridge.
You should go with some Korean friends, if you go with a group of non-korean friends and can convince them to let you in the club then you will get few if any bookings.
Spend the money and get a room. Women do not want to be seen sitting with a white man in the public area, it will hurt their ability to meet other men. Not fair but that is the way it is.
In the room you need to order some whiskey and side dishes. Tell you waiter what kind of women you like and if you do not want to meet a pro tell them not bring any working girls.... but if you want you can tell them to bring you working girls.
Sit in a position so that you can not been seen from the door. If the woman sees you first she may run. Once she sees speak immediately in Korean, they do not want the stress of an English test, they our out for fun. Once she sits down offer her a drink and introduce yourself. If after five minutes you like her ask her for her phone number. It is unlikely you will score on the first night. Most of the women walk around with their phones in their hands this so they can get the numbers of men they are interested in.
If you have a woman hanging around near the end of the evening invite her and her friends to go to a po-chang-ma-ja or a late night restaurant. She will be more inclined to go if she is with her friends and their is an matched number in your group and hers.
My experiences is on the clubs with women in their 30's and 40's. Almost all of them are married and looking for boyfriends. It usually takes 2 to 3 dates to score after meeting them at the club. I have a 3 date rule, no sex by the 3rd date I cut them.
There are some very hot good looking women despite their age and they tend to be excellent performers once you get them in bed and they relax. No with all the enforcement going it is best to build a good rotation of amateurs. It cost less than pros but you do have the burden of sending them text messages every day.

As long as you still have drinks the waiters will bring you girls, usually the girls want to look around as well so try to get to know her a little and get the numbers from all the girls you meet and call them later on. This is what I have done, some girls of course I never see again but I have met quite a few and went all the way. If you tip the waiters they will make extra effort to bring you the hot girls, it can be worth it.
Price is about 50. 000won and up per person if you order a table and of course a room would be more expensive but you would get more girls and can more easily get intimate with them already in the club. Some clubs have women in 30's and 40's but this one (Heracles) is mainly young university students. All girls I met was 19-23 years old. Only one of them could speak English, so Korean language is the key.
How to find Night Clubs? You will be hunted down by bouncers on the street as soon as you approach the area. There are also many Night Clubs in the Jongno-2ga area but I haven't been there much.

I have also had previous (although isolated) success from Korean Cupid (mostly Korean), Hi5 (mix - I met an Indonesian girl studying in Seoul thru Hi5) & Friendster (almost all Filipinas)...I'll be pulling in next week...but this time bringing my own - a Thai friend.
