While I'm far from being an expert, I will suggest that the kinds of things you express an interest in will be difficult to find in Korea--if not EXTREMELY difficult--unless, that is, you have exceptionally good connections.

This is in some ways still a very closed society, where foreigners are not always accepted. It's also a society which manages to be simultaneously promiscuous and puritanical--think Victorian Britain and you'll just about get what I'm driving at.

Also, just to complicate things, the crackdown on prostitution is, by all reports, real. Some months ago it was a Japanese tourist caught, literally with his pants down, in one of the big Seoul RLDs. The Japanese embassy was informed, and his name (as I recall) was splashed all over the newspapers.

Not that prostitution isn't still thriving here: it's just mutating a bit. And making itself that much harder for the foreigner to find. Or rather, you'll very easily find the unappealing sorts (snaggle-toothed ajummas who will give you a quick HJ in a seedy "barber shop"), but might have to look a bit harder for the good stuff.
