You know how these “first time” visits sometimes start. 1 day lead time no way to prepare, everything happening in a rush.

He stopped me and explained that the recent crackdown had changed everything and it would be hard to find what I was looking for. He suggested to take a Black Taxi (because they speak English) and ask the driver for a massage place where “Special massages” are offered. I took me almost another 20 minutes until I found an available black cab and did as the guy suggested. The driver thought about my request for 30 seconds and asked me whether the “Gangnam” district would be okay – I almost laughed out loud, as this was where my hotel was located. I am in Seoul again this week, so went mongering on Tuesday night.
