realize where the money can be made.The main reason that foreigners are turned away is because of Korean men. If Korean men are only 20% then maybe the y will have less influence and the girls will less likely care what they think.

Fishmonger: Yeah, Korea sucks compared to Japan for sex. However, I wouldn’t say that Korean girls aren’t interested in foreign guys. I think a lot of them are, but they’re just scared shitless of what the guys might think, say or do. It’s a far more rigid and conservative society than Japan, if that’s even possible. But even so, you have Itaewon and there are plenty of girls over there for the sole purpose of meeting foreign guys. One word of caution to black guys: do not under any circumstance say that you’re from Nigeria! They have an absolutely horrible reputation there.

Actually, I have two Korean guy friends who have tried introducing me to Korean women. One is a bit of a looser with women and he only likes white girls, but he’s tried at least! So there are a few - very few - exceptions to the rule.

If you’re in Korea and dying to hook up with a Korean chick, try and befriend a foreigner who’s dating one already. I’m sure they’ll be more than glad to help you out.

What few realize is that a lot of these guys go over to China, Indonesia, Thailand or the Philippines for some fun - sans condom, of course - and come back over to Korea bringing the desieses they pick up over there with them. And it spreads. I think AIDS and any other venereal disease is much higher in Korea that most people would think. The government and the people, of course, will deny such problems even exist. “Korea is the perfect society. There is no crime, no homosexuality, no drugs, no AIDS. Guys, it sounds like Korea sucks compared to Japan. One male Japanese friend of mine and his girlfriend seemed to enjoy thinking about which one of her friends they were going to set me up with next. They would ask me things like "do you like small or large breasts?", "do you like sexy girls or cute girls", etc ... One guy I work with was even going to set me up with his sister, but nothing ever came of it. Japanese girls are very interested in foreign guys, maybe because Japanese guys tend to not treat them so nicely (to put it mildly). One other thing, black guys here seem to have it especially good. An ex-girlfriend of mine told me that one of her friends dated only black guys ... she said she loved the contrast of dark skin next to her white skin. I have several Koreans whom I think of as pretty good
friends - a couple very good friends. However none of them
have ever seemed the least bit interested in setting me up with
a Korean girl - pro or not. I would disregard any info you receive
from a Korean man and check it out for yourself of find another person who might have the information. I have heard too many times from people on this and other boards who hear from Koreans that Miari is either closing or they don't take foreigners.
Miari is definately alive and well and the "best BANG for your buck" in Seoul". Korean men , in general, are not interested in helping foreigners have sex with Korean women. Of course, there are exceptions but I would double check any info you receive.

As you face the front entrance of the hotel, on the right side of the block, there is a Daewoo auto dealership. To get to Miari:

Take Subway Line 4 (light blue line) to Gireum Station.
Use exit 10
You will be at one of several entances to Miari.
Go through the green curtains covering the entrance.
There is a maze of several little alleys with hundreds of girls.
Don't worry if the ones closest to the entrance ignore you.
Just keep going and you will find many that will take a foreigner.
Usually when the Mamasan sees you coming you'll see her knock on the glass to warn the girls you are coming. They will be waving and calling you as you walk by.

Stud_lee makes some good points about Itaewon.
I think the best thing about Itaewon is the party atmosphere which overflows out of the bars and into the street and goes on most of the night. I have had some great nights there. I usually time it to arrive around 10pm and party till the subway starts running again at 5:40am. It is certainly the best place to score with non pro Korean girls. I managed to pick up a georgrous one last weekend. Turns out she works at a Room Salon but likes the looks of foreign guys over Korean and comes to Itaewon to meet them. In my first couple months here I spent some money in the "Juicy bars" but quickly realized that you can spend a fortune on drinks very quickly without getting much. The girls all charge a fortune for sex. Most quote 80,000 for a HJ , 120,000 for a BJ and up tp 300,000 or more for sex. Yes, you can negotiate for sex and get it cheaper if you try but their heart is not in it when they are doing it cheaper and it is usually rushed. My recommendation is to go to Itaewon to party and possibly pick up girls in some of the great bars like Seoul Pub etc.
For sex I recomend Miari. Stud_lee says he heard they do not accept foreigners. This is not correct. It is the one RLD that for the most part DOES accept foreigners, Not all but most do. The regular quoted price is 60,000 Won. A price you would have to work hard to get in Itaewon and then likely get a rushed 15 minutes. In Miari, 60 is the going price so you're not rushed by a girl who feels she's giving it away cheap. There are many gorgeous girls for the asking at Miari. I think for the money Miari is the best place in Seoul for sex. If you have triple the price for a Turkey Bath go for it as it is bettrer but for 60,000W you can't beat Miari!
