Figured I'd add to forum after just now finding this site. There are three Thai shops in Gumi. I think there are more but I haven't found the one by the train station. I can confirm that the Daegu pink light district is open to foreigners even if they are as tall as 6 ft 4 and do not speak a word of Korean.

Do not expect to get Top pick. Usually you get offered be or even see Girls but if you make a nice impression and the time is right everything is possible.

I actually went there twice. Midweek at about 21:30 which in my opinion was too early as most of the girls we just getting ready. Slim selection at that time and was offered be- as best pick therefore left unfinished.

First post, looking to bring some life to the Taegu forum here.

First off, the pink light district (west of Daegu station) is open to foreigners. It is better to arrive between 11 and 1 if you are a foreigner without a Korean friend. They have never turned me down, just usually will charge you more if you do not know Korean. 100,000 seems the usual price.

Near Dongdaegu station, there is one Anma that is not foreigner friendly. Their are a ton of massage shops. My understanding akd experience is if you pay over 90,000 (usually the oil massage) you are guaranteed to get a happy ending. Some do full service but it all depends on the place and girl. I found one girl I frequented so my knowledge is from her.

The double barber shop polls are everywhere. If you can't find them then. The usual cost for foreigner is 50,000 and that's going to include either full service or a BBBJ with the lady using her hand while fake riding you. Don't expect much but you pay for what you get.

Most of the places in the Taegu RLD are NOT foreigner friendly. I used to live there several years ago and it steadily went downhill. Many of the houses had closed up by 2006. I assume more are closed down now. The best time for a foreigner to go has usually been around 10 pm, before the drunken Korean dudes show up. The prettiest girls will always shun foreigners.
