How's the GI bar scene in Taegu out side of Walker / Henry? Nobody seems to talk about it.

The main road to the south of KNU starting at Kyeong Dae Kyo bridge is full of cat houses. One problem. When I tried to go they either shut the doors when they saw us coming (foreigners) or, if we got in to the lobby they would say no. I don't know what the big deal is, but that place didn't work for me. And I am not fat / ugly / bald / scary / poor looking.

Exit south doors from Daegu Station (Lotte Department Store). Cross the street & head West (Right). Walk for a good while or grab a cab. As you near the RLD, on your left hand side, you will see abandoned buildings / complex of some sort it's all over grown in trees & shrubs. Get the cab to drop you off in front of the abandoned building area on the Main Street. Keep the abandoned buildings on your left & walk just a short distance, & on the left hand side you will begin to see the RLD area. If you reach the train / transportation overpass, you went about 150 paces too far. FYI, the lights aren't really red there. They are actually Pink, hence the PLD.

Here is what I've found for some company. Exit South doors at Daegu Station (Lotte Dept. Store) cross the street & walk East (Left). Make sure you are on the opposite side of the street from the Lotte Department Store.
