Thanks for the detailed report. I haven't been to Pyeongtaek, but I've had some of these same experiences at RLDs in Seoul and Suwon. There's nothing worse than a stiff legged provider complaining about being fucked even though she agreed to a dicking.

In these situations, with ugly providers, bad attitudes, and poor service I've learned to just say no and walk away rather than settle for below average. It's not always easy when horny, but it's the right decision.

Unfortunately, a lot of businesses don't look at foreigners as repeat customers. Therefore, they're in the habit of offering terrible experiences.

On a side note, if the RLD in Pyeongtaek is really that hesitant to accept a foreigner, it may be due to American military intervention. On occasion, the US army works with local Korean government to stop privates from visiting the brothels. Enforcement may have gotten stronger because of the continued spread of covid. I don't have any definitive proof of this, but based on your description of every single woman turning you down, it's possible that the women in Pyeongtaek were told not to take foreigners. If this is the case, things will eventually blow over.

I tried out pyeongtaek rld during the day thinking I'd get different results than night time as a gyopo. Well, apparently the daytime girls aren't that desperate either. I drove around stopping at each girl waving money. They either didn't look at me all, looked through me, or shook their head no. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm not sure exactly when this occurred because when I was here 12 years ago this didn't seem to be the case at all. In fact, I found it a big advantage to be a white American here, I was different. Now that I've just returned to Korea, I am experiencing what you are saying here exactly and it just sucks. When the hell did these conceptions about foreigners start? I will say the jealously by the male Korean population (especially older male) has always been here. I still remember riding in a cab back in 2010 with my Korean girlfriend and having the driver tell me girl that she should be ashamed to be with a foreign guy and blah blah blah. 1) Appreciate the responses! I did find the information about opstar. It helped me locate a few places within 30 minutes drive of me. I haven't tried any of them yet, but based on what others are saying on the forums, it may all be for nothing as I am a foreigner with zero Korean language skills. If it's not thank you or yes, then I'm out of luck!

2) So, a gunma is just an American version of AMP, got it. I'll have to lookout for that one mentioned at the bus station. Was that the songtan or pyeongtaek bus station?

I've only been able to find two places that would accept me so far. One was the worst experience I've ever had. If I can't look Korean, then maybe I can get some coverage and blend in other ways. Finding professional help has been a way different story though. In Hawaii it was super easy. I miss those places. Has an entertainment street catering to the GIs stationed at the huge Osan US military base nearby. Pyeongtaek glass houses couple subway stations away. The main intersection where the bus station is located has a gunma advertising itself in one of the buildings. There's also another downtown core near city hall. Otherwise just your typical Korean urban sprawl sort of area.

Just wanted to see what else was available out there for us. Least for those of us foreigners that aren't gyopos (learned this term on this forum LOL). Anything on OPstar I go thru my Korean connection, as those tend to not allow foreigners unless you have a Korean that can vouch for you. Opens many doors. Glass houses don't tend to favor foreigners, also too rushed and can't get an A row girl. Hard for foreigners out here to get a good Korean regular, unless you get a regular non-P4 P girl, but that also has its own challenges and not always reliable. That's not to say there isn't anything wrong with the Thai, Chinese, and Russian food either (had all three so far). Sounds like you know of a few places that you've visited, perhaps we can trade notes and info.
