Roamed the streets around the Lotte hotel, there are plenty of "room bar", tried a couple but not speaking Korean that did not go anywhere at all. The girls never even approached me. One mamasan felt so bad she did not even want me to pay for my drink!

After reading the forum, decided to try Hollywood Club, which is a foreigner club only. At first I went to the wrong place, there is a bar with a big red neon sign that says "Hollywood bar", 1 street away from the Lotte shopping center, well that is not it at all, this one is just a regular bar.

The hotel found the address of the Hollywood Club I was really looking for, about a 15 minutes ride from the Lotte. It is kind of a small, dark, rundown place which turned out to be a filipinas bar. Bartender, mamasan and 100% of the girls every day are filipinas. Some were plain ugly some were quite beautiful, about 10 girls total. The one who approached me (can't remember her name now) was about a 7 but with a nice personality.

Drinks are 6000-7000 for the guys, 10000 to 25000 for the girls. 20000 gets the girl a large orange juice, 25000 a shot of tequila. The girls get $3-4 per drink, most come to work there on "contracts", i.e. the bar paid for their plane ticket from Manila and they have to work for at least 2 months to be allowed to return without having to buy a new return ticket themselves.

We chatted for a while, and then she explained the barfine system after I inquired. 150000 to get the girl out + whatever you negotiate with her, she is not included in the barfine. I mentioned that this is horrendously expensive, she agreed. Said most guys don't barfine any longer since prices went up from 100K to 150K recently.

The alternative is to rent a karaoke room, i.e. a sordid dimly-lit room (I believe there are 2 on the premises, a small and a large one) with plastic benches, a table and a TV, for 60000 for 1 hour, and get the girl in there. Once the door is locked, you can get FS in the room, keeping in mind that there is no bed and that the benches are probably not clean.

Should one decide to proceed with the Karaoke room option, one will then find out that the girl will try to finish you in 10 minutes and that the mamasan will start knocking on the door after 30.

Overall a disappointing experience, I imagine it can be different if you take the girl back to your hotel for 150K + 100-150K for the girl. Main advantage is they speak english and filipinas can be real nice.

Yes, the district was across the street and to the left from the station. It has been years since I've been there so I can't promise anything.

Most of the good girls were off of the bigger alley on the south part of the zone. The main road running N-S in front of Suwon Station also had some girls but they were more the B girls. The further you go away from the station on the main road, the worse the quality gets. Once you get into the small, back alleyways, the quality is way low. Try this map...the brown line shows the RLD.

I have heard of another RLD somewhere in Suwon but I don't know where it is. I was told it is near a stream and right next to one of the fortress walls. Supposedly, the rooms on the RLD are very small and open right onto the sidewalk..not the usual RLD I am used to. Does anyone know where this RLD is?

There used to be a big red-light district a few blocks away from the station. I haven't tried it out but it looks the same as Yongsan just smaller.

I am sure there are plenty of anma's and barber places (as there are in every major city in this fine country). Just go out and explore!

I lived on Jeju for 7 years, know it well. P2P's, massage rooms, singing rooms, coffee shops, barber shops, are all over the island, even in the small towns.
It's a hit or miss thing no matter where you go. Most will give you the fake sex; they are using their hand and you're thinking you're in the hole! And they are good at it! Many places will give up the real thing. BBBJ, again, some will, some won't. I can't give you a specific location as the girls move around. But, you won't have no trouble in recognizing the places! They are all over. The job of the girls is to separate you from your money. Period. Very few will give you the GF feelings. Expect to pay from 80,000 to 150,000 Won for services. All nighters? 300,000 Won. More than likely, you will not have enjoy the service from these girls on Jeju. You are for sure on the complete wrong track. Not having been in Jeju yet, but in Seoul I can imagine easily that your expactation is way to much. Unfortunately this is not China where the girls are all over and it is just a matter how girl friendly the hotel is.

Jeju Island is primarily a vacation destination for korean families. Don't expect to find any there. I would assume the usual korean mongering style applys.

Hit the strip in Songtan with two of my partners last night to case the bar scene. Not much going on because of the exercise, but more clubs were open then the previous night. To make an extremely long story short, we ended up at one of our favorite hangouts. Like the other bars we had been to that night, there were very few customers inside. Each of us got comfortable with our girls, buying them and ourselves a few drinks.

I called momma over and asked her how much for my girl for the night? She quoted $250. I laughed and asked her to take a look around the club. I told her it's empty because of the exercise, therefore I should get a discount because your not making any money anyway. I told her $150 and the girl goes with me. She balked at that...a lot!
