I haven't heard of La festa. How about subway directions from Sadang?

if you patronize bars in the songtan area, you might want to save your money and seek your fun elswhere. these bar owners in the story below promised the military that their bars will no longer offer bar fines so you can no longer take the girls out of the clubs. i so do feel for you military men, you can die for your country but can't get laid.

owners promise to curb violence, prostitution and **** drinking

pacific edition, thursday, february 19, 2009
osan air base, south korea — officials here have lifted a ban on eight local bars after the owners promised to keep them free of prostitution, **** drinking and other unsafe or illegal conditions, the air force said tuesday. osan’s 51st fighter wing commander col. thomas h. deale lifted the ban monday after the owners spelled out in writing the things they’d do to keep the bars free of crime and violence, said wing spokeswoman 1st lt. malinda c. singleton. "they said that they’re really going to work to police themselves," she said. the affected bars are the stardust, young chon, eagles and golden gate clubs, and the chicago club, blood club, club sting, and un club.deale had put the eight off-limits after air force police allegedly turned up evidence of "bar fining."
bar fining is a practice in which a patron pays the club to allow a bar girl to leave the premises for an agreed-upon period. authorities say bar fining is typically a symptom of prostitution. in two letters sent to osan’s armed forces disciplinary control board, the owners promised "to ensure that their entertainment environment does not support illegal activities," singleton said. osan officials would not release copies of the letters to stars and stripes.
the owners said they’ll move to avert bar fining, barroom violence and **** drinking, singleton said. in addition, she said, the owners will post signs in their clubs "letting u.s. personnel know that bar fining is not allowed." owners or their representatives had also held three meetings with the control board. and they had help from pyeongtaek city hall and the korean national police in finding a way to resolve the ban, singleton said. based on those meetings and letters, the board recommended to deale that he lift the ban, she said. the disciplinary control board advises the wing commander on conditions at clubs or other off-base venues that can pose harm to u.s. servicemembers and their families, and the wing commander can put such places off limits.
yi sang-chul, manager at the young chon club and a member of the songtan special tourism association, said club owners welcomed the news. the association represents bar and hotel owners in the shinjang mall area of songtan, a section of pyeongtaek in which osan air base is located. the off-limits ban had forced the young chon to close for three weeks starting jan. 22, said yi. yi jin-yong, owner of the golden gate, said he lost weeks of business because of the ban, but still had to pay rent on the property. "now we can work … off-limits finish," he said. "that’s good."

It is easier to take Airport Railroad and go 2 stops to Un-Seo train station. Much cheaper (about 3000 won) and you can see the Lotte Mall when leaving the train station. It is within walking distance.

Just got back from ICN and wanted to let ISGers know this place is still alive. It's right beside a gas station, just off the main road that leads to the Lotte mall. Check out the Front of Building photo by Dubya699. It's still pretty much the same. Best give away is the phone number on the signs on the 3rd floor (see pic and you'll understand). At the end of the block by the main road, you'll see a restaurant/beer house. Can't miss it.
I had just about an hour (and wanted food) so didn't not sample the goods but I did check it out and they're still in business. The middle aged lady inside gestured / asked for 140, 000KRW (or I think that was what she wanted) but I think you can get lower if you negotiated. If you've got a layover of 3 hours or more, this will work very nicely. Takes 10-15 minutes to get here by taxi, costs 12, 000 KRW or USD10. Given the current exchange rate, you're much better getting some KRW from the airport (this is also true for purchases at the airport and inflight duty free if you fly OZ/KE). The Sky and Incheon airport hotel are in the building just behind this one. Others like June, Sevilla, etc. Are 2 blocks away. All within 3-5 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants in the area also but most don't speak English and some don't have picture menus.
Good luck

I just got back from Yongjugol after not going there for about 18 months. The place is still going strong and has got nice chicks there, too.
The prices remain the same: 70,000 won for 20 minutes, 100,000 won for 40 minutes, and 150,000 won for a hour. I think the place is dying for customers since the economy in Korea sucks so bad (no pun intended).
One warning though. There is a growing phenomenon of older Korean ladies turning tricks, so just make sure you get a spring chicken instead of an ajumma.

Posts: 1REQ: Any advice for a good coffee house to call?
Just moved in to my place a few minutes from Songtan, with ZERO Korean aptitude. I've had a business acquaintance order coffee from one of these delivery places, but obviously not gonna get any action in an office setting during business hours. Can anybody suggest a good way to get one of these hotties out to my place without attracting LE attention? I'd love to see what happens for a 5-10Kwon cup of coffee in my new digs.

If you're in Ilsan doing some shopping at La Festa and you are in the mood for a massage and HJ by a mildly attractive Korean woman for 70, 000 won, you can go to Mint. It's on the "Meat Street" side of La Festa on the 3rd floor above the corner store (I believe Buy THe way). It's across "Meat Street" from the Dunkin' Donuts and the Baskin Robbins. Anyway. Ok massage, good hand job, sometimes the top goes down, some time no. I pushed my luck as much as possible. Extra touching, anything that could help with the overall FS fantasy. Not bad, just sharing.

I just arrived here in KOrea, i was here back in 97, and spent some time in Kwangju. We used to stay at the World Hotel. So whats the scene like now down that way? Up here in Kunsan, you really cant go anywhere without having town patrol busting your butt for something. I remember there was a RL area, but not sure if it is still there, can anyone offer anything for this area.
Thanks

Posts: 368Tabangs or Dabangs Everywhere
D33,
Most "Love Motels/Hotels" will have the tissue boxes or match boxes in the rooms with advertisements on them. However, I have stayed in a few that only had ads for the delivery food places. If you don't see what you are looking for in the room, take a stroll around the area you are staying in. Many times there are Dabangs very close to the motel/hotel. Look for the Korean characters 다 방 . You will probably need to know how to speak the Korean language to request a hottie to bring your coffee to the room.
Happy Mongering!

How does the tabang thing work exactly? Do girls only come to motels? Do motels in Seoul also have those tissue boxes with phone numbers to call?

It's been a while since I was in Gwangju, but i still have fond memories of the place. Especially the coffee girls who come to the motels. Once got a delivery by a girl who sat down on the floor facing me and positioned her legs so that i could see evrything under her dress and under her panties too. Just like that. i pulled her over to me and got her to give me a handjob. Cost $6 or W6,000. Next time i called her I got her to give me a nice oral sex job for $12 or W12,000. She was young and quite fresh looking. When she finished her thing with me she would get up, straighten cothes and smile at me as she left. I smiled at her too, and told her I was very happy.
