I have calmed down to some extent to carefully re-read the article, this seems to be only the opinion of the so called Ayurveda Commissioner (she must definitely be a Lesbian) and does not seem to have any government backing (at this time at least) so I would say we can relax for now and hope that this would be really hard to implement. I think I can guess what has happened, there are so many new SPA's that are popping up that the politicos and other big thugs are getting worried that they will soon have to share their pie with all these other new comers, this is why so many new players are hesitant about providing extras

If there is demand, there will always be supply.....Just ensure that it is not a health hazard and conducted very discretely... One has to understand the psychological thinking behind "Red Zones"...

our evolution is going back to hundred years, we still in the 18th century. why should you have to bother about male or female? that is their choice and their rights,

almost every spa or a massage parlour (whatever you name it) has a person calling himself a doctor. Who knows if he's a certified doctor? Banning won't stop this. Legalise this by maintaining a good standard. This really has a psychological relaxation too.

So What is the big deal? Ayurveda is not a trade mark owned by a person or an institution. It is traditional medicine. You can rub cocunut oil or "Thala Thel" oil any oil on your body and call it Ayurvedic treatment. What I see is thsese institutions provide a great service by providing employment and relaxation to people.I dont see anything anti social about it.

We Lankans seem to be associating the words 'spa' and 'massaging' with some antii-social, dubious and mischievous activity that ought to be discouraged and condemned. The truth of the matter is massaging is a very effective form of body theraphy both under indigenous and western medical traditions. When you have conditions like back pains and shoulder pains, massaging affected areas is an effective treatment process inder both systems. There is abosolutely no reason to demand that a simple activity as massaging should be done only under the supervision of a licensed ayurvedic physician. MASSAGING IS NOT THE MONOPOLY OF AURVEDA DEPARTMENT.

The basic fact is that there are many unemployed Ayurvedic doctors because most people prefer Western Medicine. If these Spas close all these Ayurvedic doctors will be on the streets.

hi despite of all odds. i just happend to walk into this place in nugegoda as they claim "registered aurvedic centre" in 7th mile post. where they hav another office in kattiya junc.

new place look compact. not very good looking. its an upstair. was there talkin to thier madam. who was claiming that they are only few registered under aurveda.. bla bla. but same time she said hj is notan issue. then i agreed. place looked very compact. and they put me in a room where theres no door. only a green curtain. i just peepd in and saw theres no such rooms but only partitions avaialable.

The Ayurvedic Department has informed the Mirihana police to crackdown on illegal Ayurvedic massage centers operating under the guise of spas without a valid license, Ayurvedic Commissioner Dr. Ramani Gunawardena told Daily Mirror online.

The commissioner said that only 15 Ayurvedic centers are licensed to operate in the country including just five in Colombo but several illegal centers are in operation including nearly 50 which had their applications for a license rejected.

She noted that under the law a certified Ayurvedic doctor should be present at any licensed Ayurvedic massage center or spa and it is also illegal for a male to massage a female or female massage a male.

The commissioner said that a committee has been appointed to look into the operations of spas in the country while a special team has also been deployed and legal action will be taken against anyone violating the regulations.

Dr. Gunawardena meanwhile noted that some illegal spas continue to operate with the backing of influential persons and political figures.

This is my first post though this is not the first time I am here.

I was a long standing customer at Orchid, satisfied with HJ most of the time, until I heard Nirovin & LP. I thought LP was closed and I didn't know it was reopened. I have been JH too but as usual its bit of expensive.

LP is really good specially L**** whom some one has comment as bone fucking but thats my taste.

But, the fact that made me to write is the Nirovin. Last week in the heavy rain, some time early after noon. The girl is D****. OH GOD. Extremely happy ending at a 75% cost of LP. And people who know D**** knows she is perfectly built.

So please stop all hovering around and queue up in Nirovin. It was superb.

i started off to look for a spa mentioned by rav4 (on nawala road) but could not find it, since i was already in nugegoda and disappointed after trying to find the place i thought i would just at least peep into the new keep fit place, i am sure many of you will remember the old place before it was closed down, it was never a classy place with the girls always being greedy for money, nevertheless i had got some good service earlier, well i was a bit surprised at the look of it it looked a little bit cleaner than when run by the earlier management, after a small chat with the manager who assured me that the service was good paid 1000/- and luckily for me i saw a girl who i have known before from another mp so i knew i was in safe hands. the place is divided into about 8 tiny rooms separated by curtains, toilet are the same as before and were marginally clean, the girls are dressed in nurse uniform (some get turned on by this)

i am not going to mention details here but suffice to say i was satisfied. i will pm a more detailed report.
