i tried to call this no. but without answer. i took one trishaw from borella for hotel. in between i convinced the tri shaw driver to go via liberty plaza as i wanted to check for the first tri-shaw driver. i kept on trying that no. and ultimately it was answered. i warned them that i was going to police and that i had the vehicle no. , i was told to come to mgm club. with the help of trishaw driver, i went there as well but in vain. i came to know that i have been cheated by these so called sri lankan gentlemen. i decided to go back to the hotel at about 2:00 am.

so guys, this was my first mongering attempt in colombo. and i feel really pissed off and came to know that sri lankans in general are cheaters and wanted to make money without any efforts. i have posted the phone no. in this post, this is the only clue what i have. if any of my sri lankan friends, who feel embarrassed with this episode, try to teach the guy a lesson by making complaints in local police through his personal contacts (i don’t think somebody will make official complaints of such incidents). i am willing to corporate so that the persons involved in such rackets are punished. i will be staying in sri lanka for about a week. this is the only way by which i will able to regain the faith in this country and its’ people. however after this incident, i came to knew about the true colur of sri lankan society. this episode will also have great impacts on the feedback, that i am supposed to give to my multinational employer who was looking to do business with sri lankan firms.

in the end, i would like to retract that this country is full of cheaters.

I am new to this forum as a member as I recently joined it. I am not from Sri Lanka but have been a frequent visitor to this place for the last couple of years.
