I last went to that Chinese place about 8 months ago, and my experience was not very good. There are three things which discourage me from going there:

(a) The place itself is not very clean. I can't remember what the towels were like.
(b) These Chinese girls have very high "mileage". It is likely that they have worked in at least two or three countries. So the risk of disease is there.
(c) This place has been raided by Police at least twice.

If you are happy with Priya it might be best to stick with her for a while. Her method of finding customers ensures that the "riff-raff" don't get in there. She is very clean, and she goes for regular health checks.

The house looks veru eriely silent and quiet.

I agree that house is eerily quiet. It is a big house where six or seven people could live. It is a strange set-up which I don't really understand.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I saw this so called mobile Brothel. It was a blue color Hiace van (dolphine) bearing no 251-XXXX. And it is bit easier to identify because it has a white color door for the front passenger side.

When I was at the car park waiting my freinds to come. All of a sudden this van came in and parked just next to my car. And I saw there were two guys in front and a girl and a guy at back. It was well coverd with curtains where we can't easily see the inside. After a few minutes of negotiating two guys left the scene and I understood what is going on inside the van, because the van was shaking (you Know).

Then I was bit curious and went to find these two guys who accompanied the couple. I found them at the other end of the car park. Then I introduced my self as a monger who saw the scene and asked the way which I can get the the service provider's number to have FS in another place. (I beleive this is bit risky action in a place like this car park). I was given a mobile number to dial after 5 P. M.

After getting the number I left them and when I came to my car all of us were told by the police to get the cars out of the park since they were going to close the gate. (around 4 P. M.) at this time I got no time to meet these guys again because I took my car quickly out.

I tried the mobile but no luck (wrong number. Think they have mistakenly gave another number).

Assume this is a good way if they deliver the girl to our named place rather than going to places where the police activities are much high.

Acting on a tip off the Police Women and Child Protection Bureau raided a Karaoke restaurant in Colombo 7, and took in for questioning twenty young girls aged between 20-25. Among the women was a university student, who entertained customers who call over at the Karaoke restaurant.

I am now informed that the Karaoke restaurant referred to in my previous report was Boss on Flower Road (Sir Ernest de Silva Mawatha). The Korean owner Mr.Park was arrested along with the girls, but no customers were arrested. All "suspects" have now been released and on Friday, the 19th, the place was reported to be open and in "full swing".

There are two possible explanations:

(a) Some money (a LOT of money) changed hands.

(b) The cops were threatened with a fundamental rights law-suit. Some cops think they can just barge into a place and throw their weight around without bothering with the rules of evidence. If they want to charge the owner with running a brothel they have to prove that he is charging money for sexual services. The karaoke places get round this by charging Rs.900 for a plate of cashew nuts. It is difficult for the cops to prove that sexual services are being charged for. These places also issue proper receipts, so they are presumably behaving like good boys by paying all their taxes.

Karaokes to come under close scrutiny

Several Karaoke restaurants in the Colombo city, in suburbs and elsewhere in the country will come under the scrutiny of the police with the amendment to section 360 of the Penal Code being passed in Parliament. A Korean proprietor of the exclusive restaurant was produced in Court and remanded pending further investigations.

Acting on a tip off the Police Women and Child Protection Bureau raided a Karaoke restaurant in Colombo 7, and took in for questioning twenty young girls aged between 20-25. Among the women was a university student, who entertained customers who call over at the Karaoke restaurant.

The university student said that several of her batch mates at the university were on the pay roll of the Karaoke restaurant. "We are made to wear skin-tight clothing and dance along with the customers from dusk to dawn," the student had told the police.

Apart from the salary a hostess earns around Rs. 500-600 per night from tips, for dancing with clients.

But the ugly side of it was that the women can be enticed into prostitution, Inspector Manoj Samararatne said.
