Very interested in what keywords you used and which booker you found. I'm in a similar situation that I'm Taiwanese but haven't been in the country for a very long time. I decided to go to a MP on Ji Lin road that was connected via Line through a broker. You can easily find these if you search hard enough. I recommend only if you speak mandarin or know a good amount, though the broker knew a fair bit of English since it's been like 4-5 years since I've been back in Taiwan for such a long period. As many of you are used to the regular MP on Minquan and other foreigner friendly areas. Ji Lin Guan is actually pretty accommodating for foreigners, granted I am Taiwanese just been abroad for all of my life, so do take that with a grain of salt. I've been to a few of the places in Minquan and the only problem is the older staff as it can be a turn off so I turned to google and popped in which basically means happy ending massage in Chinese. A few popped up and I found this broker who I think runs a chain of these places. He recommended Ji Lin since it was the most convenient to my current place of stay. The guy on Line was pretty friendly and up front. I went out of the gate and told him I know what kind services is provided so he replied with a full set of price for the list of services so I knew beforehand and know what to pay when I get there. The price is 2500 for the house price (which is also the base price and you can add on top of other services like HJ, BJ, or FS). It is pretty much non-negotiable as he said they use a fixed price system where a HJ is included in the 2500 and FS was an extra 3200 NTD. I didn't ask the BJ but I should've. If it is your first time the broker recommends you just show up and select one of the girls on call. Usually they have 4-10 girls on call, I came at around 12 PM-1 PM ISH so it was pretty early and there were only a 4 available. Though I can definitely say the girls will be better than what most MP place will be considering you are paying a hefty premium compared to other joints. I ended up selecting a girl who went by Xiao An who was in her mid 20's who was the most decent out of the bunch. They don't speak English but since I knew mandarin I was able to hold my conversation throughout. The place was nice in that they allowed you to select the girl first and if you only pay once you select a girl you like. If one doesn't please you then you can leave and come another day. The broker has a website he gives out where you can see the schedule and photos of the girls who work at the place so you can see which day she will be working. Do take the photos with a grain of salt, A) they blur the face or put stickers over it and B) they kind of exaggerated the measurements. Back to the whole ordeal once I paid my 2500 I was led to a private room with a private shower. The rooms are really discrete and they cover all the window and the doors have deadbolts so you can expect privacy..

Do note that if you opt for the FS you can just skip all the massage and use the whole hour (10 minutes shower 50 minutes play) to just enjoy the package. The FS is what you expect, I don't know if other girls do it as well but mine offered to shower with me as an act of foreplay. Once we were done showering and dried off we went to the massage table and started what I came for. In the past few nights, did some surveillance of the Longshan Temple scene, in and around that whole area. Saturday night was bristling with locals enjoying the night markets and food. The streetwalker scene has not returned to pre-coronavirus activity. The foreign young ladies mostly have not returned to Taiwan. But, that being said, I have found some rare beauties in between the police scanning the area. Just have to keep on moving and looking. The Huaxi Market area had mostly older ladies. I did not partake. The massage scene is a good alternative. The open window places are mostly I guess you can call them legitimate massage. However, once you know the lady well and establish a rapport, even with or without much Mandarin you might get a nice HJ for a modest tip. For example some have a 90 minute special for NT980 and a generous NT500 tip, you leave happy. Other massage places give the look and feel of "anything goes. " The prices look just as attractive but the girls and owners know what you want and the massage is secondary so you do not really get the long massage you wanted. They give the obligatory massage and skip to the monkey business to garner a nice tip so you never get your time that you paid for. Another alternative for those that want an honest good massage before finding a girl to satisfy your needs is to take a massage in the basement area one flight above the entry of the MRT. There is a blind massage station area that gives legit massage for NT $700 for one hour. Throw in an NT $100 if you are so moved but unnecessary. After already feeling relaxed, you can walk around the park and the Huaxi area which has many little haunts and move into the more serious Kangding alleys where the more young and attractive ladies with bright smiles hang out. Very entertaining area and lots of food and drink to recuperate, local herbal drinks and fresh herbal markets and indigenous meat and herbal soups, fruits. I even bought some sandals for $NT $88 and a super light raincoat, $NT200 and shorts and tee-shirt for $NT100 each. Good fun to immerse yourself in the culture and if you want to be super wild, buy some betel nut and spit some red and take on a warm gentle high. But be careful. Sometimes they are spiked with drug and not merely nut, seed and slake of lime. One time I bought from the wrong vendor and had a short trip to the moon. It fired up my spinal column and shot into the cortex of my brain (I thought that my kundalini was awakening). I was feeling dandy but also a little nauseous. The honest natural leaves, limestone paste and nut is a mild stimulant. But don't overdo it. The people that chew morning to night get mouth cancer.

I went to Mori-ho Massage Club. It is on the 2nd floor across the road from the Showtime Cinemas.

If you can't speak Chinese then I would change your location from Linsen to Minquan, between Zhongshan Elementary School MRT station and Xintian Temple. There are dozens of parlors in this area, happy to give you precisely what you want. They might not have the best English, but they will definitely cater to you, while it is possible the Linsen places might reject you.

If you're planning on staying here long-term, and have any intention of mongering while here, I urge you to bite the bullet and sign up at National Taiwan Normal University for Mandarin Classes. The price is not high, but the value is unspeakable. Speaking, as well as reading and writing Mandarin here is a game changer for mongering.

The national language of Taiwan is Mandarin Chinese. I think I can count the amount of times I've heard Cantonese here on two hands over the last 10 years. I do not think you can use expect to use Cantonese and effectively communicate with anyone except those in the service industry (hotels, etc.).
