To clear customs if you need to go to the passport line can take a few minutes to an hour depending on how many other planes landed. If you got a speedy immigration form it's quicker and if you can use egate it's about 5 minutes.

I am assuming you aren't picking up luggage? That could take sometime as well.

I guess I might sound like a cheapskate. If your funds are unlimited or you hit the jackpot, well let the good times roll. Or if going is once in a blue moon, then it does not matter.
