I guess I need some more Chinese friends or something because this has got be the worst place in the world for a white guy with no chinese skills to try and get decent p4p. I thought Korea was bad but at least you could go near the army bases and pick up something for a reasonable price at one of the bars. Unless you are willing to pay a shitload for a piece of ass here Taipei just doesnt seem to have much on offer.

I have had no luck in Ximen-ding (plenty of young girls but how to tell who is up for it and who isnt) and I am sick of getting ugly chicks from Yuki that have too much attitude and not enough enthusiasm. Judging by the lack of reports on this board in seems like this place is just a shit place for a hungry monger to be.

I went ot Xin Diann KTV last week. The service used to be excellent there, and i do know the mama-san very well now.

Nevertheless the service I received now was below par. It is still expensive, and the singing and dice game playing is still OK (as reported also by Guy 1 a few days ago).

However, the service of the girl I took with me tgo the hotel was abominable; cold as ice and the furthest from GFE that you can imagine. Questions: Does the Far Eastern Hotel have a bar inside where "talent" hangs out. Can one pick up any talent walking in front of the hotel?

I have an upcoming trip and need to make a decision between Hyatt, Far Eastern, and Sheraton Taipei.
Can anyone "rank" these as located best to "action"?

Far Eastern is a short walk (3 min) just up Anhu Rd. to Carnegies. Wed. night is ladies night; they've recently instituted cover charge for non-members (membership is free, and while I am one, don't know exactly what the requirements are - one of the bartenders suggested I ask for a card, and I got it). Friday and Saturday are normally packed after 11:30 or so. Closing is around 4:30 or 5am.

I've had very good luck with freebies there - in fact, have never paid, although in retrospect, I'm sure at least one was semi-pro.

FE has a bar on the top floor, and also a coffee shop type area on the ground flr, but I've not seen any talent hanging out at either. The atmosphere is not conducive. In fact, I haven't seen that type of action at any hotel in which I've stayed in Taipei...

IIRC, the Hyatt is close to another hangout, Brass Monkey. Ladies night Thur. Right off the top of my head, I don't remember where the Sheraton is, so have no info.

If you haven't found something at either Carnegies or Brass Monkey, hail a taxi and tell him you want to go to Vibe. I don't know when they close - I've staggered out well after the sun has come up and they were still going strong.

These 3 places are the ones I know of that are known to expats (waiguoren), and where the local women come to meet them.

I hope to stop in and see one of my 'friends' around Christmas on my way to the US - haven't been there in a while and looking forward to it.

I think you need to ask your local contacts in Taipei to help you find a decent sauna. There is some prior information in this thread about a sauna that worked out OK for me, but if you don't speak the language well you probably shouldn't go alone.

I've been going to Taiwan for 15 years and I wouldn't suggest relying on trying to find a companion without the help of my local friends.

Arrived late a few days ago. Feeling restless so went out and bought a copy of The China Post, an English newspaper. A whole bunch of adver in the classified section for special service. Short one... Could not connect with the KTV girl from the night before so a like-minded colleague and I took an extended late lunch to another KTV which is very near the Ambassador Hotel in Taipei. Very secretive affair - he knew the mamasan really well, otherwise we could not have gotten in or received the service that we did. I got a card from the mamasan but I doubt that anyone that hasn't been her customer before would get anywhere. BTW, she was the same mamasan as in the crappy KTV we visited the night before (see earlier report).

We were the first customers at 3pm when the dayshift girls are there - mostly students and other part-time girls. We were pressed for time so basically just picked a girl each to do the deed. Mine was about a 6, 24 year old student. She spoke some English. Went to the adjacent empty room after a beer or two and had full service. BBBJWCIM as well as covered FS. She liked to DFK but I did not want to try DATY with her. My colleague stayed behind in our original room with his girl and did the same.

Total damage (room, drinks, girls, mamasan tip) for 1.5 hours for the two of us was 16kNT. Note that they add 20% fee if you want to pay by credit card and need a receipt which we did.

TW is definitely not cheap for the hobby... I am glad that I can expense at least some of these events.

Day 2 - not too much to report. Went to Champagne II where one cute girl mistook me for a waiter because I was wearing a black T-shirt just like them and wanted me to bring her some ice. I wasn't quick enough on my feet to turn this into an opportunity. Then went on to Carnegie's across the street around midnight - it was Wednesday so it was very crowded and there were a lot of hotties there. Somehow I just couldn't be bothered to make a move but from the looks of it, there are definitely opportunities at least for freelancers if not freebies. Lots of horny white guys there as well :-) Nice lesbian show by a couple of girls dancing on the bar.

Day 3: After dinner went with a group of guys to a lower-end KTV (I guess they are called something like "La Ba Dien" (BJ KTV) from the TW expression "Toi La Ba" for BJ. It was called China Dragon Club. Address is in Chinese but the phone number is 0930-880500 (or 2522-3939). Total cost wasd 46k NT for 9 people for 2 hours including HJ/ea. Girls were not very attractive (3-5) and the 5 or 6 grade girl I had picked actually left just before the HJ to be replaced by a 4 who to top it off tried to violently jank my member off my body... ouch! Her name was "Lemon". The girls immediately got topless and stayed topless by the way. Stayed from 10pm to midnight. We were all kind of bummed out by the experience so we went on to Paradise KTV (I reported on that one in an earlier post). Much higher quality and I met with a girl that I had met before a couple of times and had hit it off with. Working on her as a potential freebie now. No takeout for me this time since I wanted her to believe I don't do this kind of stuff ;-)

Tomorrow night I fly home so there won't be a report on the fourth day unless my planned lunch date with the girl from Paradise works out.
