My guess is that may have to do with there are less girls from Mainland China in Taiwan now so the selection is reduced. That is just my observation.

Instead of "local", "regular" probably is a better description. Do they tell you 7 k gives you 3 hours with her? There are different levels of JiuDian / KTV that determine the girl quality. Some will require work, often you can't get sex the first time or if you are not a regular, the quality tends to be better percentage wise. Also, they may be used to have drinking and KTV entertainment as foreplay before sex. I don't really know, just my guess.

It is not cheap for salary workers that is why Vietnam is probably the more popular destination for Taiwanese mongers. They have similar JiuDian setup that many Asian mongers prefer. Not understanding your terminology. If the client or girl is local, they are not regulars. They are locals, meaning Taiwanese.
