I have come to realize if I stumbled upon a streetwalkers' block unwittingly, quite by accident, there must easily be dozens that the locals enjoy all for themselves all over this fine city. Taiwan runs a very tight ship.

I came to Taiwan back in the mid to latter 80's and there was sex on every corner, a monger's paradise in full blatant display, almost everywhere.

The authorities scrubbed most of this island pretty clean to make it what it is today in the world, a real gem, with its vices well hidden.

Don't get me wrong, I know that in the name of progress it had to be done, like most other countries, and I am grateful that they gave us a few well-known red lights. I am grateful, most certainly.

But, if any of you boys in the know feel not put out and generous enough, and don't feel that it would upset the balance of the universe, or at least Taiwan, I am a bit more than mildly interested, if you catch my drift, to know any nice private local enclaves where ladies dress well and walk leisurely looking for fine gentlemen to exchange friendships.

I really shouldn't be so greedy. I do have far more than I can both handle and afford. But, curiosity gets the best of me sometimes. And, we all know what curiosity did to that poor cat!

I'm not a local but lived in Taipei a few years. And have traveled there many more times. I've enjoyed your reports and I never did street action in Taipei. The only action I had with locals was the higher end KTVs that were invite only with the security by the lift. You had to have the mama san number and call in advance. The girls were gorgeous, they would do the normal sit and drink and sing and then every 20 min or so the lights dim and they do a strip and lap dance routine where they rotate around the room. Some venues included BJ or HJ in the price as well. All these places I could have never found on my own but through local work colleagues or customer entertainment business meetings I did experience them.

What I did find though was picking up civilian girls was very very easy. I had a couple of regular FWB's that kept me busy to that I never had to really hunt on the streets. Maybe your personal situation doesn't allow that but if it did, Taipei was a fabulous place to fuck the civillians and have a great time. You will miss Taipei, I know I do, even though I am still happily in Asia.

As someone else mentioned the Omni building (closing to Zhongxiao Dunhau), like I replied to them as well that area is very well known for upper class KTV. These are the model type girls, normally 9-10 rating, that you would see usually perform in said mentioned club as one of their famous bottle service girl dancers. There are little areas everywhere here.

Any indication as to what road / area you were in with this encounter? You can DM if you don't want to post public.

I saw three girls, maybe four (they vanished quickly) very close to the MRT station. One was a tall standout. The others were not so appealing to me. Definitely not runway quality by any stretch of the imagination.

The one I liked, when I got up close, had a very charming little face.

As you might expect, shocked to see them, I was gawking shamelessly and obviously, like a sailor out at sea for months, wondering if the land mass he is seeing is but a mirage. I was on my way to Wanhua, and would have loved nothing more than to enjoy a new venue.

I gawked and gawked, and then started in pursuit. The tall elegant girl obviously realized this idiot, anything but cool, "waiguoren" on his bike is narrowing in on her. I biked passed her a few times. And, with my keen ingenuity, I searched for a bike port to return the Ubike, and set out pursuing the damsel on foot. She realized this jerk is stalking her, and she vanished into a storefront for a while, thinking she could shake me off. She had another thing coming and a lesson to learn about a hardened monger. I bided my time until she re-emerged. She realized I was relentless in my pursuit of her (a young tall beauty you don't see everyday. You must strike while the iron is hot) and aborted her escape, surrendering, realizing that communication between us was imminent.

My Chinese is poor. But, it would have been good enough to close the deal. I asked her price, and she ignored the question. Realizing I am destined for Wanhua, anyway, and this spot could be a possible destination before I leave the island, I was as gentlemanly and polite as a monger could muster and bid her good day.

Since you are saying that she is probably a spillover from a ritzy club, she is surely in a higher price spectrum than I am willing to pay, given my extreme frequency these days in my last hurrah.

I approached one with my limited Chinese. She was tall, young, thin, and quite shapely. I made up my mind to immediately go with her if she would have me. But, as I suspected, it being too good to be true, she hesitated. Undoubtedly fearful of a foreigner. Oddly, it was in a wide open area. I wouldn't have approached her if she didn't appear to have all the characteristics of a bonafide working girl. I was confident enough and did my due diligence of heavy surveillance for a long time so as not to embarrass myself and insult a civilian. Maybe even get myself smacked in the face.

After she showed reticence and hesitancy to budge, I considered it hopeless. But, I must say, she also did not look spooked by my advances. It is not a tourist area, nor a known strip, so I doubt she runs into foreigners regularly. I bowed respectfully, smiled with good grace and manners, walked away and went to Wanhua where "they" (the powers that be) prefer my type to gather in one place under close supervision, observation and surveillance.

Wish I could get ahold of the "Locals' True Mongers' Maps. " If only I had a drinking buddy who is a sergeant in the vice squad in the Taipei Main Police Bureau. No such luck. I don't even drink. But, I could start drinking again if it led to relevant information like opening their files to me.

Well I'm not dead or in jail.

To update on my situation it was very awkward because we had no common language.

I met her in the lobby and she "kinda" looked like the picture but good enough for me. She looked like a sack of bones tho, I was so afraid to break her in half. Kinda did considering she had trouble getting my umbrella in her lobby iykwim.

We both took showers and did the deed. Great tongue job, but hardly any "warm" reaction. Kinda killed the mood for me. Very unlikely to be mugged, Taipei is very safe. If this is first time don't mess around with line IDs unless someone introduced to you, likely to be a lot of bait and switch and you won't necessarily have the best time. Either try Caesar (average but probably consistent) or find someone on massage republic with a verified photo (tick) and a few reviews. Or for quick but where you see who you are meeting, follow some reviews on here in the Xichang market area. These are less likely to go wrong, although nothing is guaranteed. Bonne chance!

I was walking down the street on Zhongxiao East Rd and saw a few unbelievable looking girls walk into this mall. I followed them and saw them wait for the main elevator.

Then I noticed some other beautiful girls walk in and also wait for this elevator. These girls were not dressed like "normal" girls. They were wearing mini gowns and obviously had work done.

Then I noticed another elevator come down and a saw some drunk guys come down with similar looking girls.

The Omni building? Yes, that building has the night club, the World Gym, a couple of floors of adult entertainment in it. You need to know an agent to get in on the list, you will see some guys sitting outside at the tables where you sign in. Those are really high class KTV, you can end up spending 10-50 K per person there for the night. However, for those prices you normally get a 9 or a 10 girl, and any party favours you may need.

That street (about 2-3 blocks in either way) is just littered with very upscale adult KTVs.

It's like when you must face the inevitable, and, it's not what you really want to do, but you know there is no other alternative, and you struggle to find something meaningful and good about your fate, you come up with a slogan, although you say it half-heartedly, something meaning like if it is happening, I have to accept it, it must be part of the divine plan, for some reason, and you try and appease what you really don't want to do, and you mutter some nonsense, like "it is best this way," though you don't really mean it, just something to motivate you to finally get your ass in the seat on the plane.

I am visiting from another country and have finally gotten somewhat adjusted to the time. Therefore, this was the perfect time to try and visit Wanhua and from there checkout options on Linsen road. I had about 6 k NT on me but wanted to get another 9 k NT to make sure I had sufficient cash on me for doing multiple visits per day. As mentioned in other posts, currency exchange only seems to happen at banks and being a Saturday, they were all closed. I should have exchanged currency earlier in the week (Unprepared). One of the few options available this Saturday afternoon was the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei currency exchange inside the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store. So off I headed. I arrive at the department store and find the currency exchange desk. First thing the lady tells me is I need the original passport and can't use the picture of my passport on my phone. FML (Unprepared). Going back to get my passport was out of the question because I'm staying in northern Taipei and takes me about 30-40 minutes by MRT. At least I had 6 k NT on me which would be plenty for Wanhua but I wasn't confident would be enough for Wanhua + Linsen road. Sadly, I had to nix visiting Linsen road this evening and hope I have time in the coming days.

Second order of business was to get some blue pills and condoms. I found a pharmacy near the department store and got the blue pills from the staff of female employees with a store full of people picking up their medications...

Those of you that need cash, you can go to any 7/11 and they have an ATM to withdraw cash.

I use my American Express Card and can withdraw 20,000 NT or maybe more. American Express does charge 5% fee, but it's not too bad considering you don't have to go to a bank.

You can expect a few more reviews. But, in reality, it is best to retreat to my own country where the easy affordability and access is far less prevalent.
