Hello friends of Taipei. I am visiting Taipei on business for 5 days later in April and will be staying at the Mandarin Oriental. Kindly advise if there are any good hotel bars / clubs where one can find high quality independents.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

There is a pub called The Brass Monkey which is an expat bar, you normally find a lot of working girls there especially on a Thursday (Ladies) night. Going rate about 3 K. Otherwise hit up Xidu spa or Line agents in the area after you arrive.

I went to that area today. On the opposite side of the street from the Landis hotel, I only saw one massage place between the station and the hotel. Probably more on the other side of the street. Just past the Landis hotel, I found a place that has Chinese writing and "Spa" on a red sign above the sidewalk. A young lady inside motioned for me to come in. After discussions, I agreed to a two-hour massage for 1300. The lady who did the massage was probably in her late 20's, slim, and fairly attractive. She spoke practically no English. After the massage, which was very good, she motioned if I wanted a HJ. I said yes. She would not remove any clothes, but she allowed my hands to roam under her top and outside her shorts. She did a really good HJ because hardly any women can get me to finish with a HJ. She accomplished the mission. I gave her 600 tip.

After I went down stairs and was putting on my shoes, three young ladies came down and went somewhere outside. They were all very attractive. Obviously they work there because they had their shoes on.

Was this same side as the Landis? Sounds like the Red Spa that we mention here, as they are 1300 for 2 hours (but you normally get 1 hour). Across the road (especially after the 711) is a lot of massage places next to each other if you go back to the area.

I'the like to begin by thanking Willytp (6136) and Asiafever (6130) for their reports regarding the Xidu spa. Number 38) sauna. It was my first night in Taipei so I entered with some trepidation. I went downstairs and took my shoes and socks off. I was given a locker key and told to strip off. I then felt a sense of isolation. I entered the wash area, but had no idea what to do. I washed them wandered around the facilities and some old guys told me what to wear. I came to this restaurant so I thought the game was over. I looked at the menu thinking I may as well have a beer. Suddenly this lady appeared and asked me if I wanted a "special massage". Naturally I consented and she took me to this side room behind a secure door. Luckily for me this lady spoke Japanese so it made things easy for me. She explained the pricing then took me to one of the private rooms. The epitome of sleazy Asian mongering (dim lights, leopard skin). I waited a couple of minutes not knowing what to expect. The knock came and a rather plumpish middle aged lady, not unattractive in and of herself, appeared but whom I ultimately declined. I waited another couple of minutes wondering if I could expect better or worse.

Again the knock came, and in walked this almost amazazonian Asian lady in a baby doll dress. She knew I wouldn't decline, and I didn't. Things started off quite formally with a proper massage. I was again wondering if I could expect any goodies. Massage over, there was a light feathery touching, then CBJ. At this point I was getting flustered, and to my eternal shame could not quell the inner urges. She bore no ill will, and as I was still rather solid, proceeded to go on top. Alas the game was over for me. A quick wipe, then another shower. I'm not sure if she was referring to her age or name but she kept saying 99. Total cost 4,300. I would repeat.

In the evening I then went to my hotel bar, which was on the second floor of the Grand Hyatt near Taipei 101. There there were a couple of ladies whom I think were open to offers. I got speaking to one but soon realized that she smoked. A second was cuter, and had been approached by a couple of guys, and then eventually ended up chatting with this overweight middle aged guy. She was wearing kind of suspenders and a micro skirt. I'm really not sure if these ladies will come back to your room with you or not; or are just there to entertaining the male drinking clientele. Anyway, I blew it in the bar, and should have made a move in the cuter one earlier on.

After a couple of days away from Taipei, I then moved to the DoubleTree Hilton. I was reading some Japanese mongering websites and realized that one of the saunas they referred to is right behind the hotel. Reminded of my experience at the Xidu sauna, I entered this new place to see what was in store. It is more worn and tired than the Xidu. Again, I entered the relaxation area and was offered a special massage. Just as as before, I really couldn't see what the girl looked like. Her service was also rather mechanical and devoid of any interactivity. 4,200. Finished by HJ. Wouldn't repeat.

The next day I was aimlessly wandering around again behind the Hilton. The streets there are pretty seedy and remind me of the old Kings Cross in London. An old woman on the corner approached me and asked if I was interested in any P2 P. I asked if there were any photos. She then called some people. A white Mercedes pulled up and out popped this young lass. I said ok so off we went to my room. Shower, CBJ, FS. 3,500. Might repeat again depending on the girl.

Overall, I really enjoyed Taiwan. It's mongering scene is pretty difficult, but I think I had a fair old whack at the ball. My only regrets are not going to check out Longshan area, or having a proper pop on that girl in the hotel bar. I think I will be returning to Taipei again soon.

Spent way over budget on my Europe trip and was looking for something on the cheap. Pleasantly surprised by my last two visits to Longshan temple area. First, stay away from the alleys directly off the main night market. Those are the places where you'll be pulled in by hags and ripped off. Second, the following is for the more adventurous or those familiar with Taiwan. May not recommend for first time visitors with zero mandarin. Third, remember that this is an area with a large gangster presence. So, even though Taiwan in general is safe, stay cautious and don't do anything stupid. Longshan temple is known for the abundance of 50-60 (dare I say even 70) year old chines working ladies, but there are still decent experiences to be had if you know where to look. From Longshan temple mrt station exit 1, go north on xiyuan road, turn right on guilin road and continue east. Go past xichang street until you reach Kangding road. Turn right on kangding and continue south until you hit Heping west road. This stretch (on guilin road just after xichang street and kangding street until heping west road) is where you find some action. On this stretch, you'll see several massage shops and working ladies standing around. Usually on the older side, but sometimes may find an attractive one. If you see one you like, ask her how much and she'll take you to her flat nearby. I had an ok-looking 40 something Chinese woman for 1500. If you don't see anyone you like, take another lap around the area, but don't force it. Try another day. Another option are the street agents (mostly older men) standing around on guilin road between xichang street and kanding road. Walk slowly and appear to look around and they'll approach you. One way is to stop at the massage shops and appear to be looking at prices. Once an older man approaches you, he may ask you if you want a girl and that he has young girls. Key word is young. If he doesn't say it, tell him you only want young girls. In my experience, the agent told me he has young girls and that I can look first with no obligation to stay. Then I follow him to a building about 5 minutes away which turns out to be sort of a ofop. He shows me three different flats in the building each with one girl. All three girls were cute / attractive Vietnamese in their 20's. Flats were clean and well-lit. He quotes me 20 minutes for 1800 or 40 minutes for 2800. I choose 40. Girl was cute, great attitude, good service. I forgot to get the agent's contact but can probably find him again on the street there anyway.

Most of the MP places you get the next girl in line and have very little choice, unless you go to some of the places reviewed here that does offer a line up. You could also just try showing them a random number (usually anything between 20-40) and hope for the best.

But if you want to be sure then just try the personal massage studios that advertise on JKF, either one of the agents or the girls that blur their faces.

Went to the spa at the intersection of 4 Section 2, Minquan East Road. It's on the corner directly next to the food place.

There were always a heap of girls inside waving when you walk past so thought I would give it a shot. Got a really pretty Chinese lady that only wanted to give HJ. They advertise 2 H for 1399 but it's really only one hour, the massage was pretty good as well.

I would like to thank AsiaFever who did the first report (#6130) about Minquan Red. Indeed, I talked a few time in this forum about Minquan Red but I did not have enough funds to try it. I would like also to thank NewTee for his report (#5943) about XIDU spa.

Thanks for his report I went there (XIDU spa). It seems that this spa has several nick names: Xidu spa, Jing Hua spa.

Anyway, the address is Number 38, Section 5, Nanjing East Road, Songshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan 105 (business card attached to this report).

In his report, NeeTee explained very well the location (nearby a Mc Donald's) and all the whole process.

I may just add that I have asked for a slim and young girl to the mamasan. Once I was in the massage room, the light was very dark. I tried to increase it with the button but I couldn't..

I can echo this report. Just a great experience there. Thai girl, very cute and offered great service. She's only staying another week, but if people want, PM me for the number.

I'll be in Taiwan for a little over two weeks beginning at the end of March. Not above P4P action, but it seems limited here and I really prefer just hooking up with regular girls anyways. I'm white, early 30's, fit, clean cut, light hair and eyes. Will most likely be staying in a mixture of hotels and Airbnb apartments. I was thinking of laying down some groundwork with Tinder / Bumble / DIA before getting there and trying to meet some regular girls. Or any advice on picking up on normal girls around the city? As you mentioned Philippines is paradise for white guys as many 'normal' women there have strong lean toward Caucasian in general and American in particular.

If you can't score in Vietnam which is still one the easier places in Asia then Taiwan will be very tough. You need to have serious game (money and language help a lot). Language can be issue since their generally have low English skills.

Your best luck is to try to find ABC who went back to work and live. Those sub-group will give you best chance in Taipei. Otherwise you can look for fellow Caucasian travelers since they still prefer hooking up with people of same race as opposed to locals. Thanks western media for completely emasculating Asian dudes.
