The area I roamed was bordered by Jilini Rd in the North, Kanding Rd in the east, Neishan Rd to the South, and Xiyuan Rd to the West. I spotted around a dozen WGs. The Longshan Temple area is the last taste of old Taipei. Bargains can be had. But you must be firm and know what you want. It is a confluence of so many nationals, Thai, Vietnamese, Taiwan, China. The older area by the Huaxi night market, yes, has older tea room ladies, but walking those ancient alleys, seeing all the KTV bars, there is really a lot to see and you will run into MILF's and even younger ladies. But use your poker face and maybe it takes a few times to learn the game. Usually to get into a place after seeing a girl on the street they quote 1000 NTD and once getting in a room another 100 for tea and then your lady has an agreement with her friends to come in, 2 or 3 and to try and sit with you for another 300 NTD's each. What takes place at that point is up to you and your relationships that you are developing. But as they say YMMV. Some updates:

Longshan Temple area. Was a Friday night walking around. Was very busy with loads of locals and foreigners. Didn't get approached by anyone offering me girls, also think I found the alleys that you guys are talking about. Was a line of guys in there standing around, so looked a bit crowded.
