On the ladies nights and club nights ages are from 20's to late 40's. And some beyond.

Expensive meaning starting at 5000twd up to 15000twd it is similar to tea service.

I say for the first time in this country I had good fun. It is not completely in the open in this city, but if you do a little research and a little effort you can find a lot.

Beyond Wechat, as might have already been mentioned, if not here then in the China forums, there's also QQ, Momo, LINE and Kakao. All except Korea-based Kakao seem to be useful in Taipei and other Chinese-speaking places as well as East / Southeast Asia in general (I read that Kakao, whose features appear to mimic LINE, aspires to popularity, but I assume it's more happening in South Korea...I wonder about Japan? Certainly not in Taipei...). All these apps have English versions, but when downloading Momo and QQ, if not a Mandarin speaker then you need to make sure you're choosing Momo's English version and QQ's, which is called QQ International. Wechat, QQ and Momo are China-based, while LINE is Japanese but growing quite popular internationally.

Momo limits you to text (before the other party follows you back) and voice chat (when they do), but if you want to make voice or video calls you can steer your targets to Wechat, QQ or LINE. People seem to have their preferences; many Taiwanese have a comfort level with and use LINE, but Wechat's quite popular regional influence is becoming more widespread in Taiwan, while QQ users are lesser in number and tend to gravitate towards Chinese speakers. Momo, on the other hand, is an up-and-comer in the chat app field that is rapidly growing in popularity and has a more salacious reputation for facilitating hookups, whether they be of the freebie or other variety.

Other notes: Wechat limits the texting space you have in one texting field to introduce yourself to targets, and just introduced a policy of restricting your ability to view photos beyond the profile photo in the profile you're perusing until the other party accepts your friend request; Momo allows you to follow (and "save" someone for future reference) and places no limits on your ability to text or send images before or after friending, but as mentioned, limits you to voice chat even when the other party follows you back...no voice or video calls on Momo; QQ might not allow the other party to view images you've sent until they've accepted your friend request; unlike Wechat, QQ and Momo, LINE and Kakao (basically a Korean LINE clone) don't really allow you to see potential friends/targets in the vicinity in the form of a list...you'd need to "shake" your phone or otherwise enter the personal details of someone who's given them to you. All except LINE and Kakao seem to be more or less accurate in urban settings in terms of indicating GPS distance from you. Each app varies in terms of rules and features, but generally speaking, they all try to have a certain degree of user-friendliness...to search for or add friends/targets, I think you can search on most of the apps by user names/e-mail/phone as well as give the app permission to have access to your phone address book. And QQ and Wechat might be part of the same Chinese company, because within the apps, there's a feature by which you can see and invite your contacts between the two apps.

And, there's pros and cons to all of the above, but depending on the 3G or Wifi connection, LINE, Wechat and QQ (Kakao probably as well, but not much going on in Taipei that that app) all do the voice/video call thing adequately. If anyone has any other information to add on this subject, please contribute!

Caveat: These chat programs are merely tools that are only as good as you and your game when it comes to sealing a deal, and do not substitute (at least in Taiwan) for having Mandarin language ability. Good luck gentlemen!

Carnegies is still ok on the Wednesday and Saturday and if you still had no luck on 4am then go to Roxy 99 (hard to find, it changes places) but here everybody goes who did not had luck yet. And its open till 7am.

Brass Monkey's good on a Thursday night to pick up some freebee. (I am not a handsome person, but even I had luck here.

Just back from two weeks of Taipei. Work and fun.

I must say this is one of the harder forums to read on this site, but in the end it did help me a bit. Just some notes and experiences from my recent trip.

Freebee fun.

Sauna.

I tried Ceasars. It is hard if you do not speak any mandarin like me, because nothing here is explained in english, but if you go in, take the sauna, take a shower, and then get dressed and go sit in the dining area, which is a little hard to find at first. Make sure you go sit in the corner by the stairs, if you wait long enough in the end mamasan will come to you and ask if you want special massage. It's not the cheapest option, and the woman are not very young, but it is fun to experience once to enter through the hidden door and find a hallway full of little rooms.

Minquan 75 Blue. This was my ultime favorite, I wish I had such a place nearby where I live. Better girls than Ceasars. Good decent massages and depending on the girl good fun. I had good BBBJ, HJ and DFK there and they all let my hands go everywhere. I did not find a girl who did FS but I think you need to become a little bit more regular to find that fun in there. I had the most fun with the vietnameese woman in there and I can recommend #8 and #17.

Other than perhaps,"tea delivery"? Primary objective is to try a hottie Taiwanese girl. Willing to go a little higher end for a quality experience. I am ABC and speak fluent Mandarin. Is the tea thing the best bet? Traveling alone this time, and don't have the type of friends in Taiwan that I could go KTV with.

Tea delivery service in a nut shell is you call up the mama san and say you are bored and in need of some female company ("Tea"). The Tea will be delivered to where you are, eg hotel etc.

Former management discouraged working girls to make it more family friendly. Current manager has let it go back to seedier roots though. Previous reports of heading in late on Friday or Saturday are correct though you likely will find older locals if that's your thing.

I would not base your choice here on too old reports: as I reported about 26 pages back (round 2) , I had no. 9 then.

Well, based on some recent reports I went back last week and chose no. 9 again, but this was an entirely different girl!

Happily so, because the current no. 9 is excellent: wonderful attitude, allowed roaming, but no insertion. Decent massage, BBBJ for 1000.

Carnegies is not as solid as it used to be. It was a regular "Hang" for me for the past 8 years. However, the past 2 years it hasn't responded with the results it used to yield. Don't get me wrong, I have gotten plenty of freebies there (including my last visit). However, the talent level is just not there anymore. It went from 8-9's to 5-6's. If your up for a few drinks, laughs and sorting through all the 5-6's to find the one that you can bust a nut with go for it! On another note; past few visits have yielded a few working girls rotating through. Even a Russian girl whom I didn't take back to my hotel. She was nice enough to give me her digits. After the buzz wore off, I threw her number away. Don't go until at least 11:30 PM. Before that, it is a sausage fest! Hope my comments help.

I just visited Minquan Blue for the first time after reading some posts. The experience was OK, but a bit disappointing.

Session was with #33. Tall, nice body, but bad face.

I saw much nicer, hotter girls taking other customers up, but the mama assigned me #33 whose name I think was Cici or something like that.

In any case, from previous posts, I thought it was 1500NT for the oil massage + 1000NT for a HJ or 2000NT for FS...

Had 33 once, she wasn't the best. 500 for HE, she did ask for 1000 though, think they all do.
