My guess is that may have to do with there are less girls from Mainland China in Taiwan now so the selection is reduced. That is just my observation.

Instead of "local", "regular" probably is a better description. Do they tell you 7 k gives you 3 hours with her? There are different levels of JiuDian / KTV that determine the girl quality. Some will require work, often you can't get sex the first time or if you are not a regular, the quality tends to be better percentage wise. Also, they may be used to have drinking and KTV entertainment as foreplay before sex. I don't really know, just my guess.

It is not cheap for salary workers that is why Vietnam is probably the more popular destination for Taiwanese mongers. They have similar JiuDian setup that many Asian mongers prefer. I think if the ad has a location, then it is likely incall. Outcall is usually called tea service.

I have luck with one LINE contact that is low price but I got it using wechat nearby, and it is hit and miss in the look department but generally reliable for me. If you use the prices in different countries as the base prices, you can see Thai should be more expensive, Vietnamese should be much cheaper but they are all priced the same in Taipei. Ok, guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Obviously using line I found more than one provider. After getting rid of that other one who tried to scam me. I started chatting up others that I found the same way in the same neighborhood.

Long story short. (4 hours of chatting). They ended up the same way. They just want the password for the MyCard voucher.

Who spends so much time trying to get one customer. Literally juked and jived with all sorts of reasons and arguments why I should give them the password.

My fault for constantly responding to them.

Anyways. Beware out there of this scam. I haven't completely figured out the scam. Apparently with just the serial number and password, they can redeem the voucher, but they need the fa piao / receipt to refund it for cash.

So unless they are just scamming me out of the voucher and getting the numbers and then selling it to someone else at a discount. Which is a possibility. Still. Free money for them.

Haven't been on ISG in a LONG time. Mostly spent my time on the mainland when I mongered.

So, I'm here on business and sitting in my hotel in Luzhou district and I'm perusing this Taipei forum. I went back a couple of years and learned how the mongering is acquired here in Taiwan.

I've figured out how to get a few Line agents and they've sent me some generic photos but since I've been warned by this board, I didn't really take them at face value. One agent, Ella sent me a range from 4 k to 15 k but to tell you the truth, all the pictures sort of looked about the same attractiveness to me.

Anyways. I found out about line and wechat's who's nearby service so I give it a try and see some obviously hot women in the vicinity and assuming they're agents, add them.

Half an hour goes by and a too hot young thing starts texting me in Chinese. Having spent quite awhile in the mainland, my Chinese is so-so and with the help of google translate, I start a conversation with her.

She is WAY too hot and says she's a student and quotes me 3 k for 2 hours or 8 k for all evening.

This sounds too good to be true and I flip flop for awhile and try to put her off, but then my little head takes over and I agree.

She asks me to go downstairs and pick her up on the street. Immediately warning bells are starting to go off. I flip flop again but then say screw it and go onto the street.

She asks for my local cell phone number and since it's going to expire in a few days, I give it to her. I'm standing in a convenience store hoping to catch a glimpse of her as she approaches.

Instead, I receive a call from her 'friend' and he explains that I need to get a 3 k ntd MyCard voucher at the convenience store to give to the girl when she shows up.

It sort of sounds reasonable but I heard of the gift card scam so I'm not going to give him anything.

After purchasing the voucher, he demands that I take a photo of the voucher and send it to the girl. I tell him that's not going to happen and if she wants it, she can come get it in person. I'm not sending anything electronically because it has the account number and password on the voucher.

He asks again and I tell him not a chance and that's final.

I tell him we're going to cancel our meet-up and I return to my hotel room.

When I get back, the girl had started to text me again and asks me to send a photo because she's afraid I bought the wrong card or amount. I cover up the password and the bars & QR codes and send it to her.

She calls me on line and asks me to uncover it and I tell her no because if I did that, she wouldn't have to come over at all. She says that's not true and that she needs both the voucher as well as the receipt. I don't know whether that's true or not but I'm not taking any chances.

I tell her if she wants it, she can come get it herself.

At that point she hangs up.

She then sends me a photo of a chopped off dick and the following text:

DOH! ISG can't seem to handle Chinese characters. Oh well.

Which translates as:

Brother, are you coming over to make trouble? Are you sure that you are playing? This is Taiwan, not the United States, dare to make trouble on my big brother's site. Are you living alive? Wait for my older brother to send the younger brother to take your mobile phone call. Check your identity address to find you hit your half-length disabled into a vegetative and then send a few million to you as a medical bill. My older brother wants you to die, you can't live out of Taiwan.

So. That was interesting.
