Second time going to Private X today. The first time I wandered around from the dining area to the resting area with the porn videos. I think you acted too much like a cop. You don't ask if massage is possible because it's just too obvious the joint will give you massages. Next time, try whisper 'I want the special', or just speak lightly 'special', as if you're already a regular. That's what I did the first time and worked.

Guy is probably right, if you ask outright for a "special" massage it feels too much like a sting. Act as if have been there before, ask if number such and such is there (I have seen numbers 16 and 37 before), makes you seem like a regular. Then you can ask who is there, if there are thin girls, etc.

There are a lot of tips and advice for PrivateX if you scroll a little longer. I've been here a few times now, but since you asked, I'll put it in my words.

The address is correct. 56 Tianjin St. Signboards with spa / massage pictures makes the entrance to the place so damn straightforward. A few earlier posts talk about the sound of running water etc, that is actually a side / back entrance to the building. You will still have to use the main entrance to get into the place.

You enter at ground level, but an immediate grand staircase takes you down to B1. There is a large reception area. This is where you will be welcomed and given a key. Collect the key (it opens a locker, you will be shown later) and head to the next room to handover your footwear. A couple of guys manage this area, they will guide you to your locker. Strip down to your birthday suit, lock your belongings and head to the baths. Remember this is a proper sauna and relaxation center, that also offers special services. To clean up, there are regular showers and Japanese bath cubicles as well. They have 2 hot pools (40 C, 36 C), a cold pool (27 C) and steam & sauna rooms (duh! There is backwash service by an old guy in one corner (100 NT additional I suppose). Anyway, take you time to relax and clean up well. When you are done dry yourself and head forward. You will be given a set of robes. They guy handing them out sort of helps you with it and shows you to the next room.

This new room you enter has restaurant seating. The decor feels old, but that's not what you are here for right! Sit anywhere you want. You will first be offered tea. A short while later the mamasan approaches you. In all the times here, I've been spoken to in Japanese, Chinese and English by different mamasans. They ask you if you want a special message and if you have any preferences. They are quite nice and listen to your requests. So if you have any numbers on your mind, let her know. Now all you do is wait for her to return and call you. Meanwhile, you can have food & drinks, read a magazine or watch TV. I've seen people go retrieve their phones, laptops, smokes and get chatty with one other. I've always gone solo, so I hate it when the wait is too long. First time was longest - 40 minutes, not more than 5 minutes there after. So if she asks you if you've been here before, say yes!

When your turn is up, they will walk you out of this room to go upstairs (2 F). You will go past 3 dark rooms. Some with bunk beds, some with huge chairs to relax and watch Japanese porn on projection. You can return to them after you are done. Just before you enter a secure elevator that they operate, they will give you a pair of slippers. On 2 F, you will be guided to your room. The rooms are barely lit, you can just about recognise where objects are. Imagine a cheap hotel with an extra bed (that's the massage bed), not too bad though. How to find one? Go to JK Forum, add some line contacts (find an agency one), pick a girl, go to the address. Many times it's one of these hidden places. You know because they have many rooms, showers, waiting room area, and staff managing a front desk area.

These hidden places are all over the city. If you go to one, get the Line contact for the place. They usually post news updates daily. Be prepared to show your ARC on the first few visits (until they get to know you). I don't speak much Chinese, but I am ABC and they've always let me in.

When you're in, if you don't have a reservation they will show you a line up. Sometimes there are multiple line-ups, so don't feel bad passing (I always feel bad). In my humble opinion, even if the place doesn't have extras the massages are better than Saunas, independents, and hidden places. Usually 2-hours for at most 1,500 NT. However, I often try to reserve a girl and when I get to the place they give me a different one. Maybe because they know I don't speak Chinese. This is why I suggest getting the contact for the massage place directly, once you get there. Interacting with them will be faster and more honest. Plus, you can show your customer history and may get VIP room treatment.

WARNING: Once you add any of these agencies on Line, they will probably bug you now and then. Even if you contact them to make an appointment, but change your mind, they will keep bothering you to try to get you to go. Just be polite, explain whatever you want, and don't get mad at them (if you're canceling). Translation programs help, but may give you the wrong impression of their statements. Just keep cool if they give you a hard time and salvage the relationship. You can block / delete them, but try to soften any problems before you do.

That being said, I have had experiences where I rent a room, turn away 3-girls, and complain. They did not give me a hard time, apologized, and were willing to keep sending. When I told them not enough time, they apologized and were eager to try again. I did not have to pay taxi for any of the girls, but lost the room rental fee.

Ok, this was a long write-up, with no details about specific providers. More general information to help the brothers out there, especially those just getting in.
