I have visited Taipei reasonably frequently over the last 20 years, and IMHO it is becoming increasingly difficult to score freebies, particularly compared to China where I am based. Like HK, with which you are familiar, the SYTs are a wake up to us Western guys.

And, contrary to another post here, most people in Taiwan do not speak English. Therefore, translation apps and products like Wechat are invaluable tools.

Has anyone ever visited this place? It's easy walking distance from the hotel I usually stay in (Capital Hotel on Nanjing Rd.) I think it's most likely a legit place but I always see hot girls going in and out of there, and on their website which is Chinese only they have "stars" listed by number instead of name which makes me think there may be some specials available here.
