No, not exactly. That would be too easy.

Actually, it is a building of tea rooms and karaoke rooms. Girls from the street have taken me to upper floors and we did our business in those various rooms. But, while I was up there, I saw many younger party girls up there. I believe they were like party hosts to help the gents get plastered, eat, sing and pass out.

But, one smiled at me and my street girl told me that those girls were available.

But, they are not actually street girls so the deal with each girl is probably different according to price.

I kind of stay away from Huaxi unless I see a regular that keeps her word, or I am feeling adventurous. Once in a room without a firm deal, the girl has you to her advantage, and starts charging you a' la carte, and bringing in a team of girls to make a party at your expense. However, if you lay the law down on price, service and number of girls, if she is one with integrity (some exist) you will walk away very happy, happy with experience, and happy with saved cash.

I hope others could add to this because by no means am I an expert as to everything that occurs in and around Longshan Temple. My deficiencies in Mandarin limits my full investigation. And, as you probably already know, not being able to speak Chinese and communicate your desires, of course will limit your being able to fully grasp the entire scene, as it has limited me. But, that being said, I really don't need any more than I am getting. I like to move in and out of the zone rather quickly with ease, leaving as little clues as possible.

And, you would do yourself a favor if you go backwards in this thread and read up, because there is a plethora of information in detail to enlighten you on this area.

But, the area is a smorgasbord of sexual activity. Let's leave Xichang / Kangding alone because that is pretty self explanatory. Far less Taiwanese and Mainlanders, and far more other Asian nationals, Thai, Vietnamese, and others. That area is mostly meet in the streets and your 20 minutes. Unless, you talk to one of those male brokers downstairs and they make other arrangements for you, but, I avoid them.

In the Huaxi Market, I have never met other than Taiwanese and Chinese. It seems like the real main event there is other than what I do. I meet girls outside, get straight on my desires and cost, and we go into a little party room and I get what I paid for. Sometimes other girls show up and I either accept of reject. And, you get whatever you desire.

But, being in the elevatored building, I become privy to the main event there. And, I give directions to the elevatored building in this thread earlier. In that building are younger girls than on the street. Music is blaring, and there are parties going on for the benefit of older gents getting soused out of their minds, plenty of girls running down to the liquor store to replenish their glasses, and platters of food, and these girls are attending these drunks' whims, singing, dancing, touching, feeling and so on and so forth.

I don't drink and party anymore, and I just go there for a cheap thrill, and sometimes to really spend some time with a gal I like. I have been with young girls there in their 20's.

As far as more legitimate hotels, other than quick hotels, I have no knowledge of that.

But, I have met girls in the park who have apartments in the area, and I have stayed with them for 2 or 3 hours, and they give me a good rate. One girl there invited me for the night, and fed me, and wanted to travel with me. The night sounded enticing but after 2 or 3 hours, I had enough. She is a marathoner.

If I were to stay in that area, are the "regular" hotels girl-friendly? I see there's the Monka hotel and Longshan inn, does anyone have any experience with those or any decent place nearby? I see there's Ku Shan Yuan that seems to have a short term option but the few reviews aren't good.

Also, how likely are they to come to my place instead of a tea house? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree / looking for trouble?

I did the street view of Xichang and saw a few tea houses (also on Xiyuan road Lane 72 between huaxi and Bangka temple). Can I get a refresher on how these work? Is it like a love hotel where you pay for a furnished room, or is it more of a private space for actually drinking tea with like a table and sitting place? We're I to go this route, I would hope the girl has a preferred place and can handle that transaction seeing as I don't speak any Chinese. What proportion of those walking the area speak some passable English? For some reason I feel like the non-chinese girls are more likely to do so.

When I was in Taipei a few years back a senior board member was good enough to refer me to some line brokers and we had an amazing time at a uniform shop KTV. Unfortunately I had my phone stolen at gunpoint in So Paulo (no lie) and don't have the line contacts anymore. I would be eternally grateful if someone could PM me a line contact or remind me how to navigate this tough nut they call Taipei. Not looking for street action. KTV and HJ is fine.

Those are streets, in a square in that area. Amazake has listed a post number that has a google maps image with points in it.

But, on the other side of the Longshan Temple is the Kangding, Xichang, Guangzhou, Gilin square that has some younger girls, especially near the Diamond Building alleys, which can be entered via Kangding where you will see the "MILWAUKEE" sign or Xichang via alley openings, or Guilin close to Kangding, near the bike store. The Xichang Market from Guangzhou to Guilin on both sides has girls.

It wasn't the greatest selection. I searched long and hard, high and low. But, a tall slim Thai was available.

Very shy. Had to really talk her up, make her smile because she wasn't very happy and spoiling the mood of the encounter. She came around. Good girl. Innocent; tried her best. It was a memorable session because of the glove fit. No rush at all.

But, it worked. She came around when she saw that I was not aggressive, a gentleman, that posed her no threat. She was inexperienced. That's okay. Extremely tight fit. I had to hold back. Struck out in Wanhua the other night. So, decided a change of scenery. I was actually planning to go to Taoyuan, but the Keelung train was leaving in one minute, so I called the famous "monger audible. " It felt right.

Got off the train in Keelung and always feel a bit discombobulated. But, I followed the tracks from the direction I just came from, and found the shacks, as run down as ever, and not many girls, and most shacks closed, and not much monger foot traffic. Still and all, there were choices. And, some were very doable, and some were not. The price seems to be a sliding scale from 1000 to 1500, depending on age and appearance.
