I do know of an incident of deportation in Taiwan.

For some reason a highly educated man, and also a usually very peaceful and spiritual man, never partaking in mongering activities, felt that on many occasions, he was disrespected here. In actuality, he wasn't, but just could not adjust to the flow of life here. Had trouble on a deep level, acclimating to the deeper Asian sentiments, and the stark differences between eastern and western communication. He just embraced his western value system fervently with a self-righteous attitude.

He had a number of incidents and he had a 60's hippie mentality of not backing down, and fighting for his rights. He seemed to always be in a grievance. If he held it in and didn't complain, he was given to rather frequent outbursts of anger.

Anyway, long story short, he did assault somebody on camera. He was deported within 24 hours. Not even a trial, but caught on video. Ant****ial behavior like touching a civilian without consent in any way is entirely frowned upon here. Taiwan is a very peaceful and safe society, and violence and molestation are considered despicable, and rightly so.

But, peacefully paying, and being on your way for a biological need, seems to be a sort of overlooked necessary evil, that in many ways greatly reduces illegal sexual harassment in society, thus allowed, but monitored..

That's good to know about the leniency. I just wonder if they would treat foreigners (whether on tourist visa or work permit) with the same leniency as a Taiwanese who they couldn't deport.

I also worry about something being on my permanent record here, however minor it may be. It would be hard to explain to significant others / family members if found out.

When I asked my LINE agent what happens when caught, he said it's usually just a 1 k TWD fine for Taiwanese. But he was not sure what happens to foreigner customers who are caught.

Oftentimes the papasans rent a whole cluster of hotel rooms for a group of these girls.

I was visiting a girl in one of those hotel rooms today, and afterwards, as I left the room, I saw police knocking on the room right next door, asking for ID & passport.

If I had left just one minute later, they would have been knocking on my room! I count my blessings.

Anyone know what happens to non-Taiwanese citizens who get caught in one of these situations? I am wondering what my penalty (and the girls penalty) would have been. Deportation?

Illegal status, being on the lam, criminality, a bad record are what the authorities are looking for.

I even know of a guy in Taiwan who was on camera stealing from a convenience store and outrunning everybody until he was caught. To his pleasant surprise, he was treated extremely lenient, fairly, and compassionately. And, after a brief, minor legal process, with almost no interruption in his job or life, returned to normalcy, paying a small fine and an receiving an admonition.

In my opinion, the law is not on a mission to prevent the profession, nor to capture working girls and their clients. I have never been involved in an all-out raid in Taiwan, but I have been, unfortunately, in The States, where it was very aggressive with many cops. The laws there are much tougher and tighter. In a massage shop, practicing massage without a license is a tougher crime than payment for a sexual service.

From what I see in Taiwan, they don't care about people hooking up, but they do care about illegal aliens and expired visas. I have seen girls taken away for that violation, and I am sure that if a customer was in violation of a legal presence in Taiwan, he would be run through the system.

Because, a knock on a locked door by the law, leaves both client and provider time to dress, and what they were doing, although obviously inferred, would probably fail the evidence test, anyway. I mean, you could have been getting a massage, or being counseled, playing cards. Listening to music. Unless there was a camera, but then again, if they wanted to stop the profession, they would blockade known red light districts, and they never do.

Certainly, any kind of confrontation with a police person is unnerving, and running your documentation is especially upsetting, but they are not out to get you. I always walk amidst uniformed police in known areas, and they are just doing their job of watching the area, and checking documentation of foreign ladies.

I don't normally dabble in this area. I'll be attempting to do so for the first time in Thailand. I'll research into this aspect a bit more and update my post with that info.

JKF ads are usually 80% miss. The photos are fake, or they are when the girl was 20 years younger in her mid 20's. Most reliable would be the Line contacts where they send you pictures of the girls and then you meet them at hotels, usually around 2500-3000 for 1's 60.

She went online and found a highly-rated Thai place at a good price. They book up fast on the weekends if they are good legit. Many women and more respectable types that far exceed myself go for peace and healing. I forget where it was because it was my wife's deal. But it was excellent, and they gave us tea and red bean soup and cookies following the 100 minute massage.

Anyway, the only reason I mention it, is that I was being nosey looking around the harmonious shop, and on the wall, I saw the girl's pictures on a certificate from a Thai Massage Institute in Taiwan. So, in order to work there in a Thai Spa in Taiwan, they were required to attend and pass a course in the discipline of Thai style massage.

That is very important, because many AMP's (Asian Massage Parlors) around the world, employ inept, untrained, unprofessional workers who rush through the worthless massage to get to tip time, and short you your minutes by half or even more.

These girls that were licensed by the Thai Massage training school in Taiwan, gave myself and my wife an excellent massage that lingered as a healing energy for at least a few days, until I could over-exercise and push myself compulsively to achieve tightness again.

Not working girls. Sorry, I should have elaborated more. Bumble is not an easy way to find casual sex. It takes a lot of time and effort. That's why I also was involved in pay to play. Most the girls on Bumble are looking for commitment, not all though.

JKF is your friend. You will run into a wall if you don't have a local number to verify with them though. Like 95% will turn you down. 2-2. 5 k /60/1-2's. Usually 1 shot. Taoyuan prices will be on the lower side or higher value too. The higher priced 3 k+ girls are usually less caring about your phone number. Upside is the pricing and the service. It's usually much more GFE. If you do some research and read comments on JKF you will find the dark brotherhood compendium. Hundreds of reviews of girls who have posted in the last 2 months. You can find that small horse with LG extra big TV. I am still figuring this all out as well.

It is a bit pricey but it was the same price when I visited 5 years ago. I remember the host who led me to the back was really hot.

My host was like 35-40, shirt hair and nice looking too.

Foot Massage is Great. $299 NT for 40 minutes. Many shops do foot massage downstairs in storefront clear glass window legit, with full body 2 hours upstairs, legit, except sometimes you can cross over into a bit of the dark side.

Also, don't forget all the pedicure / manicure Viet shops, especially in the Huaxi Night Market Arcade. I go there now, also, and after that get a foot massage there, and then some of them do full body if it has a big back room or upstairs. I never got extras there but it seems like with continuous patronage, it might be possible. I just got that vibe and smiles last time I had manicure / pedicure and foot and leg massage. They are starting to feel comfortable with me as a steady no-grief foreign customer. It takes a while to establish trust.

But, even if totally legit, sometimes a nice foot massage is Seventh Heaven.

Of course, Kangding massage parlors, and Heping, and Guilin, Xichang and anyplace with dark glass are obviously open to whatever you want. And, I have also gotten "blind massage" in the MRT station there. Other stations have sword massage.

In that Wanhua area, there are three or four almost franchise-looking large massage stores with huge massage menus, clear glass windows, usually older women giving either neck and back or foot baths and leg and foot massage in the first floor for all to see from the roadside. They are run by the same owner, I was told, and girls rotate between those 3 or 4 stores. If you get a great massage, get her card and her number and keep it. That could be a great healing massage. But upstairs you can get an hour or two of intense massage with scraping and cupping, back-walking, steaming towels, at a package deal of around 1000 nt 1100 nt, 1200 nt. And, they have finished me off with a nice release, "sometimes. ".

I mean, you are RIGHT. A good legit is just WONDERFUL! And, for as low as $299 NT, 40 minutes footbath and leg and foot massage is cheap and healing, and you might move onto other darker activities, or just float in home and save it until another day. A lot is going on there, and bargains can be had.

I think this is one of those "do as I say, not as I do" situations. I also think we all have a spidey sense. Especially if we've been in the hobby for a while. Rather than those cues, I feel like it's the intangibles that give you an impression of a person. While I've been proven wrong before, I think this air of thirsty / hungry / desperation to get you to bite is a red flag. It tells you what their #1 priority is, getting you to part with your money.

Caesar's world sauna. I read about it on the board and tried it out. I think it's a little expensive TBH but the massage I got was top notch. The girl literally broke me and made me cry; she had me biting on the towel by half way point. 4200 NT to go upstairs. Included is use of the facilities for 12 hours, food charge separately.

Upon arriving I was given a numbered locker key and ushered into the locker room to store my belongings. Then off to the bath to get cleaned. Take a soak in the hot water if you like as well. Others have said it's a bit hot but it's bearable. The cool off pool was way too cold so I skipped. Got a robe and headed to the main dining room. This is where you can chill, smoke and order food. After arriving at the main dining room I was offered a massage upstairs and I agreed. Honestly speaking asides from the masseuse looking hot in her tight dress, I didn't I was going to get any special service at the end. But I was proven wrong when she said she would reduce the special portion at the end to give me more legit massage time.

Special service time started with her lightly teasing my back with her fingertips. Then HJ, CBJ and FS. I was hurting too badly from the massage still and had some trouble. When we switched positions I went flaccid and had her beat the airplane. We were pretty rushed for time but she was a trooper and made sure I was relieved. People say this place isn't FS but it's really a YMMV thing. It was my first time here but I built up rapport with her the whole time and made her comfortable.

Then off downstairs to have a good hot soak and shower off before getting some food. Food is fairly cheap and mediocre quality. Not great but not as bad as people have made it out to be. I tried the three flavor chicken, which came in a sizzling pot with 2 sides and soup. It was actually pretty good. The only complaint is all the little bone fragments. Literally every bite of chicken had tiny pieces of bone. The side dishes and soup were cheap Chinese fast food tier. Egg and seaweed soup. You get the picture. Portion size was small per Taiwan standard. Tonight after that intense massage I was still famished after my meal. I went to check out the sleeping room after and took a brief respite before heading out. 4600 ish after food.

It is a bit pricey but it was the same price when I visited 5 years ago. I remember the host who led me to the back was really hot.

Most massage places are ripe for some activity. Also, in Taoyuan in back of the Jing Fu Gong Temple around the Bo'ai, ZhongZheng, Minquan, Taoyuan streets are non-legit massages.
