Where are the more popular hangout places, parks, etc. where they tend to frequent? Anyone have any tips?

I am a local guy here in Taiwan so I can answer this. In general these ladies are not in the "business" so it is impossible to get involved. However, if you are frequent customer and you are very handsom then I have heard lots of stories as "freebie" after their hours and become your real girl friend. This become on the area, too. In Taipei, Hsinchu you can just forget about it. However, in sourthern Taiwan such as Tainan and Kaoshong then many beetle nut girls are also KTV girls then they will do business with you at night at KTV.

some items learned from my brief stay in taipei (in no particular order):

1 - no "adult entertainment" establishments here in taipei. largest city i've been to without any titty or nude bars.

2 - some establishments with security guards usually have some hanky panky going on inside the establishment. suspect **** girls at some kareoke bars.

3 - heard having sex with ****d girls is not as taboo here as it is in the u.s. supposedly business men with lots of cash can have momma-sons go out to the countryside to find young ****d virgins. an example is the founder of dhl whose plane crashed into the pacific never to be seen again. dna tests set up the attornies for the prostitute mothers of the kids of the founder of dhl confirmed he fathered numerous kids in 3rd world asian countries during his visits to his delivery centers in asia. this made the front pages of the wall street journal several years ago. probably not done here in taiwan, but certainly still occuring in the rest of the 3rd world asian countries.

4 - escort services in the taipei times newspaper are hit & miss on the quality of the women. suggest you stick with a service once you find a great provider. better yet, get the name & cell phone of the provider you like the best. don't experiment too much. don't pay $5000ntd. talk the service down to $3000ntd ($90usd) for (1) hour of full service attention. all (3) escort services i have called have immediately dropped down to the $3000ntd price after the price drop request.

5 - ask for the "special massage" if you partake in barber shop visits.

6 - those tiny little stickers adhered to the seats of the parked scooters are supposedly phone numbers of local providers, but most of them providers speak no english so i am "sol" when it comes to seeking those providers. heard it's also dangerous to call one of those providers based upon what i can understand from a hotel employee that i questioned.

As it seems to finally stopped raining every day here in Taipei, i thought spirits needed lifting and went back to my favourite sauna, Caesar's in Asia World.

Having partaken in the usual steam room and hot pools etc, i retired to the lounge to await further pleasures.

The lady manager appeared and enquired whether i would like a special massage, and upon confirming i did, asked me whether i had any particular number. As these girls do move around, and numbers get reallocated, i normally do not like working on numbers, but had a memorable time a couple of months back with #57 and wanted to see if a repeat could be had. She confirmed that #57 was in, and was not busy, so i selected her, and hoped that at least it would be the same girl.

Having been taken upstair and waiting in the room, in came #57 and yes it was the same girl, on seeing me she recognised me as a repeat customer, something that normally produces favourable results.

She is not a stunner, probably a 6 - 7, but her service is excellent or ast least on the two ocassions i have had her that was the case. She is well into DATY, and that seems to get her off, even though she tries to control it, but just holding her in position and keep going she finally lets go. She is also not a clock watcher, and on this occassion we got a second knock on the door to say hurry up, time is finished.

The only real downside to all the saunas in Taipei is that the beds they use, really nothing more than tables, are to small and certainly do not allow for any kind of lying together etc to get a GFE.

Assuming she is available next visit, then will look at trying to get her contact details so we can play outside of the sauna house, which will reduce the cost quite a bit, mongering in Taipei if paying is not cheap.

So even though i do not normally recommend numbers, here i have, #57.

The visitor i had with me, also came away happy and recommended #86, bigger then your average chinese lass, not fat, but apparently quite open and very playful, may have to try her after i do #57 again.

Total cost for the two of us, including some food was NT$9000.

Well, I guess you may want to try out your "foreign attraction" in those places where you do look as a foreigner ... I think this sort of "attraction" is not only about taiwanese girls, it applies to the rest of the world and probably to all of us. The only difference is that for many taiwanese living in Taiwan (I guess) there aren't really many chances to meet caucasians who speak their language. Just go to Hong Kong and you will notice the difference, nobody really cares about gwailohs there. There are just too many of them.

I couldn't agree more with Honghy2. P4P here means paying US prices or getting very old and unattractive service providers.

But if your a foreigner with some Chinese speaking skills, approach the regular women you meet in public places in an outgoing but polite way, and show some curiosity and respect towards Taiwan, you may find yourself transformed into 'Charisma Man'. It used to be even better but there are still plenty of girls here who would like to explore a relationship with a foreigner without money being involved. I have heard that Japan is similar to Taiwan in this regard but I have not spent enough time there to make a comparison. And once you do learn the necessary Chinese, you can also use it to pull all over China after you've had enough of Taiwan.

I must agree in general with what Honghy2 and EZ are saying, Taipei is not that good in comparison with other places in Asia, expensive and language can be a real problem, BUT if you are a regular visitor and have some basic skills in mandarin then it can be an ok place to play.

Even just spending time in the same starbucks over a few days can initiate some action.

Guys,

A small word of advice during the next three or four weeks, with the World Cup.

I was in Carnegie's on friday, and they have installed a large screen for viewing the games, arrived about midnight after leaving Traveller1234 and it was rather dead in terms of P4P, no girls dancing on the bar, everybody watching the game.

So whilst the World Cup is on and any games are being screened on either Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights then it would be worth avoiding. I assume normal service will return once the WC is over.

I know Taipei is not as easy as other Asian cities. But Caucasians who speak some Mandarin (like me) may find this place extemely interesting.

I have been around Asia for the last 10 years, with several visits to Taipei.

I had nice experiences with all sort of girls here: girls I met in the plane, secretaries, waiters, language teachers, girls working in my travel agency, girls at the numerous coffee shops, female clients at the local bookstores. I do not think is about the look, it is a more generic "foreign attraction". If you can speak to the Taipei girls in Chinese, you will know what I mean. I usually need to check the ISG for latest info on other cities, but do not need it for Taipei.

So here is my piece of advice for you guys: do not waste your time with pro services, there aren't any affordable (better save your money for Manila etc.). Instead, just learn some basic Mandarin (even few words may do), and practise it with EVERY girl you happen to meet during the day. Be polite but make sure you get their contacts. Invite them out for dinner, be direct and show confidence. You may discover that Taipei is really fun.

I suggest you pm Taipei Traveller and see if he'll meet you for drinks and a tour. We had a few last night just before World Cup started at my hotel and nearby bar, and he knows the happenings in town.

Re your #2 encounter, it was probably an upscale underground KTV. They're all over the town. Quite safe but expensive...better you go with local or someone who knows the prices.

folks,

i am new to the far east & would definitely appreciate some help about taipei. i have read a bunch of postings on this forum but still have questions. please help and if you have read my previous postings about tiujuana, you would see that i am very forward in providing great answers to fellow "hunters" of this sport. here are some questions:

1 - one of the postings below suggested meiliann pub & makida lounge bar located on shuang cheng street which intersects pub street. buddy & i took a taxi to these (2) lounges & found a street with what appear to be watering holes with the (2) bars noted above located right on the corners. girls (old hags) there were definitely not what i would be interested in. walked down the narrow street & was hustled by several old or average looking women trying to entice us to go inside & buy them drinks. what are these places offering???

2 - while walking down this street, a taiwanese fellow coerced us to follow him to a upscale looking club about 3 blocks away from the clubs mentioned on item #1 above. it was very upscale & located down below street level. about 6 or 8 pretty young girls were located in the main lobby dressed in the same outfit. we were led into a room with a couch, (2) chairs and a table with watermelon slices, nuts & candy neatly placed on the table. a small bathroom was located next to this room. both my buddy & i had to drain our bladder so after that was accomplished, we wanted to leave this tiny but were decorated room but found that they locked it with a magnetic locking mechanism from the outside. immediately we became nervous & got the heck out of there. could any of you guys help us out about this place, what it offers & what are the costs. we saw some very pretty girls in the front lobby but suspect that we were going to get robbed of money with no full service to completion.

3 - we peeled some of the stickers off the mopeds and called some of the numbers but encountered a huge language barrier. we cannot speak taiwanese & the girl cannot speak english.

4 - when calling an escort to the hotel room, do we pay if the quality of the girl that appears at the door is not up to our expectation???
