Well walking in that area is not going to get you any farther except looking. Yes there are a lot of young hot girl in that area. But most them are there with friends. I only see some very old SW for P4P in that area. If you still interesting walking arround that area let me know.

Hell, I've found freebies in Bangkok (where I live), Cebu, Beijing, HCMC and Singapore as well.

And I'm no movie star: I'm reasonably good-looking, keep myself in shape, and treat the ladies nicely. Works for me.

Actually I deleted my previous message cause I met some friends again and it seems it's much easier than I thought. If you're a blond caucasian, I think it helps considerably. Unfortunately I'm not but I'll try again when I'll have more time to go out. Do you work clubs? Shopping malls?

Actually, I don't think it's that easy nowadays, maybe because the western effect has faded. My friends are in their 20's and don't score that easily.

I am in the correct age group, I guess. However, my problems are A) I have virtually no Chinese language skills and B) my trips are usually short and completely packed with customer visits including dinners and drinks (or KTV) after so I have very little time to go after freebies. I never get to spend the weekend in Taiwan. Some of the purchasing ladies of my customers are interested, I am sure - but I have a policy to not sh**t where I eat if you know what I mean :-)

Freebies in China, however, are not much of a problem - even given the same issues I face in TW.

You're right....I obviously forgot to mention you need to spend a little time there, flying in/out on business is not enough. I lived there for 3 years and so before I got married, I was in heaven.

And you're dead-on - don't sh*t where you eat...make for bad relationships and business! My company has at least 10+ women in each country that if I didn't work for them would want to hit on!

In almost 3 years and probably 20 trips, I managed one freebie. I think I reported on it a little in one of my earlier posts.

Overall, freebies in TW are a lot of work in my opinion. Worth it? Not really, but sometimes I like the chase. At KTV, I always try to get the Email address of the girl I like and try to start chatting on MSN or Yahoo. Usually, you get at least a couple of nice photos sent to you :-)

I've lived and traveled to Asia for last 30 yrs, including three tours in Taiwan. In my 'younger' days, and while still single, freebies were weekly. I'm not boasting...just stating I was born luck.

My MO was basically to hang out at Nat Taiwan University area and try to score with students looking to learn English, etc.. Keep in mind girls in Taiwan back in mid '70's much more conservative than after 1985 or so. I wish I was born 20 years later...it's a goldmine these days. Any of the older mongers will know what I'm talking about.

Anyone young (20-35) and with a little verbal Chinese skills can score easily in Taiwan, for that matter anywhere in Asia. My only reason for stopping is that my wife is from Taiwan, I've got tons of local friends and never know who I'm going to run into these days.

Plus being on the north side of 50, bit of gray on my temple, most of the girls I would hit on might even be daughters of my family friends...when I do try to make eye contact, my excuse is - I've got two boys in early 20's and looking for prospective friend for them!

I have another one like this in the works and am planning to close on it end of this month when I am back in Taipei.

When I was in Taipei, I was told by Taiwanese friends that nearly Warner
Movie CIty, there is a bar area called NewYork NewYork. You can find a lot
of girls including some russian or ukrain girls.

Anyone has experimented this ?

I agree with Darkman's assessment. KTV's are pretty much all the same as far as technique and methods. The variation comes in price depending on the location.

Personally, I prefer freebies or independent pros unless someone else is treating me to KTV, which I definitely won't turn away.

My experience of Freebies in Taipei is 90% miss. Besides the freebies from Hooters, all my oter experience are paid services. Does any fellow members here have experience in freebies in Taipei? Where are their regulars hang out places?

Independent Pros, Likelwise, it is a 80% miss for me. the only two places which I had some luck in are 1) West gate 2) Taven and 3) #18 of Casaer Sauna. The rest of the places seems to be quiet

If any fellow members have any experiences beside these places perhaps it will be great to share the list.
