Typhoon on Sunday, heard that there is a pick up bar called "Taven" near Grand Hyatt hotel, also near Taipei 101.

After a bit of navigations I found the place. ITs a sport bar. I see there are even people bringing their family there. strikes me as "Not a mongering spot". Arrive at about 8pm. Place is lots of guys, does not looks like any nice girls. Glab a dinner. and in the middle of my dinner a group of 3 girls came in. Seated next table to me. The Place is called Cesar Sauna at Asiaworld plaza. In Chinese: 亚太 .

I went there on Sat night at around 10pm.

Nice big hot pool and small cold pool. Same as any Saunas in Japan, SIngapore, Shanghai, HongKong or Macau, you take off all your clothes in the locker room and proceed to shower room, hot pools, Sauna, Steam bath etc.

After that you proceed to rest area where you can order food or read porno magazines, watch TV on large screens.

Drinks are free, but the food is chargeable. Food is not that bad! What I did not like is that mama san keep on rushing and pestering you on go upstairs for special massage.

The Special massage is NT4200. she will tell you the entance fees for the sauna is already 600 blah blah blah. You you want a real massage by a male, it is 400, and if you want a real massage by a girl. it is 1000. This is done in open room between the shower room and the rest area.

For special massage; you can tell the mama san the type of girl you like, Young, big burst, slim, whatever. Once you agreed for the service, mama san will lead you upstairs, though a secret door into your rooms. You wait for about 2 mins for the girl to come into your room. Once the girl enter your room, she will ask you whether it is ok for her to service you? If she is not your type, ask for a change and the next girl will come in. I was told by someone that you are allow maximum of 3 changes, Don;t believe in that! I change 4 girls before I got one that is my type! This is where I conclude that telling the mama san your type of girl is useless! She will still push whatever girls available to you. After you say Yes, she will call the receiption and tell them your locker number. She will than tell you to wait a while when she go to fetch some stuff. (Those rubbers) tissues, Hot tea...etc. Where is another tip:Try to chose a room that you have to walk further in. Why? Because it is nearer to the girls' resting room. Sorry, guys - did not make it to Rainbow KTV on this trip so no new details. Went only to another higher-end KTV called Paradise (same owner as Red Horse). The quality of the girls is even better than Red Horse but no special services on-site. Most of the girls this time spoke some English. Takeout was quoted at NT8000 for ST and NT12000 for LT. Too steep for me.

I visited your fine city last week, and hit the AsiaWorld spa (next to the Holiday Inn) late Friday night. This place has been written about by others, and I won’t repeat the standard service/routine previously described, but I wanted to share an interesting experience.

After hitting the Jacuzzi and sauna rooms, and a few (complimentary) smokes in the lounge area, I agreed to the special massage. While not a "monger" location i feel the folks at hooters are in some way akin to the chaps which frequent this site, so i though i would provide a quick guide of this fine eating establishment - which some in china call the "Restaurant of the Sacred Owl", i like the sacred bit.
Location : Name & Phone - Hooters of Taipei - 011-886-2-2716-5186 - Address : No. 1 Lane 16 Chingcheng St. Taipei, TW. Its very close to the Nanking E Rd Underground station (MTR) - if you start at the MTR and walk up Chingcheng St, you will quickly see it to your right.
Its very similar to the Singapore hooters - girls are nice and friendly, speak reasonable English and are happy to have their photo taken. There are always a lot of laowai's - but also a surprising number of local couples and even children occasionally. There is the typical happy hour and at 9pm they start the hula hoop shows - which is interesting to watch for a while.
I have never seen any lady's of the night either in the restaurant or outside - so this is not a mongering spot - just a place to warm up before you head down to carnigies or the grand hyatt.

As written previously in the forum, the only option for you is to find the newspaper that is distributed in the hotel an in the classified you will find several "massage" agencies. Rainbow KTV in Taipei

Went to Rainbow KTV last night - first time I got FS right there at the KTV place without having to take the girl out and pay major $$$. The girls will basically take you into an emtpy room on the same floor and go to town on you... BJ is 1500NT and FS 3000NT. Pretty decent quality (6-8) and by Taiwanese standards a bargain...
