The area where Intercontinental located is the old "combat zone", they have a small night market near by, many many bars.. Some of the bar has hostess, I forgot their names, but you can't miss them, girls are hanging outside..

The deal is your drink is NT$150, the lady drink is NT$400 which the girl will get one half. ST take out is NT$6,000 and LT is NT$10,000 with NT$3,500 bar fine. So, it's not cheap. I popped in to check it out last time I was in Taipei, the grils are so-so, mainly 6-7, all claimed to be students planning to go aboard later in the year..

Also around the same area, they have BBS, I have never went inside, but my friend told me it's a rub-and-tug place, older RA though.

I always do the take-out from KTV lounge, they are more expensive NT$6,000 to NT$8,000 for LT, but they are worth it. I also enjoyed warming up with the girl all night at the club prior to bringing them home.. call me romantic..

First I would thank all those who provided info on the short time places in San Chong.

Had the afternoon off so I decided to check it out.

Directions:

Take the MRT to Taipei Main Station and go outside via Exit 4 (Zhongxiao W Rd). Once turn right and walk pass the Taipei Railway Station. Continue several blocks and you will see the elevated road way to cross over to San Chong. Stay on the sidewalk to the right of the elevated roadway. Eventually you will pass a park. At the end of this block is a spiral staircase which will take you onto the bridge to San Chong. Cross the bridge and go down the first set of stairs. At the bottom cross back under the bridge.

Right after crossing under the bridge, I encountered a tout sitting outside and went into the short time house. I chose from a selection of 3 girls. Had to take off my shoes and go upstairs. I was led into a very small room with just a mattress. Took off my clothes and got straight down to business. First the girl cleaned my privates with baby wipes and started with a BBBJ then covered BJ and finished in missionary.

Congratulations for your first post. If you are young, good looking, in a big time job and rich, you don't need this forum and you can get laid wherever you live. Your descriptiom may be true but it sure sounds depressing. I was thinking of visiting Taiwan next year, but thanks, I will head to some other country. Hi. This is my first post on this forum so I guess you could call it my 'cherry popper'.

I have been using WSG for over two years already and have found it invaluable in my travels, thanks to everyone's contributions.

Anyway, for those of you in Taipei where I reside, I would love to meet-up and go out for some fun so please PM me if you are interested. I have been here on-and-off for several years, speak fluent Chinese, and am pretty familiar with the general scene even though a I spend a lot of time away travelling to other countries. Just to put things into prospective, I often travel to Thailand, Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Africa, and all over mainland China, so these are the destinations I often compare Taiwan with.

If there is anything I can say I've learned about Taipei, as I'm sure many agree, it is that it falls near the bottom as a P4P venue. If you wanna pay for sex here, I believe you are generally required put-up top dollar for bottom of the barrel quality.

But Taipei also has a good side which I read much less about on this forum. IMHO, it is one of the best places for finding nice attractive girls to hang-out with and become physical. The good thing about relationships between foreign men and local women here in general is that they tend not to be based on money or visa opportunities but rather on real affection. So if you like GFE, this place might be up your alley. And the girls here are very familiar with western pop-culture and our general habits and customs compared to their sisters in China and many other parts of asia. Therefore, I find it much easier to relate to them than say to girls in Thailand or even China. But maybe that's because I have spent so much time here.

However, I will also say that over the years, it seems to have become more difficult for foreigners to score the easy pick-ups here as the newer generations of girls have wisened-up a lot and many just see us as playboys to be played or avoided. Also, people in Taipei have by-and-large become used to us so that the novelty factor is pretty much gone. But finding attractive 'friends' is still doable and much more worthwhile than P4P IMHO.

Taipei is probably not the best place for the old man to find a young and beautiful girl. But age and looks certainly seem to matter much less for westerners here than they would for them back in their home countries. I've seen many average to below average looking foreign dudes with very attractive local girls.

If you appear to be in your 20s, are reasonably attractive (by their standards) and are outgoing enough to approach strangers on the the street to get phone numbers and make friends, you will get more 'free action' than you know what to do with. If you appear to be a 30 something guy and/or not as attractive, your hit-rate may fall but if you are still going to make plenty of 'friends' as long as you approach girls and are friendly enough. Do you speak Chinese? If so, this will help, and it will also be useful for the maintanence stage of the relationships you get involved in. If you are already in your 40s or above, there is still hope, especially if you have some sort of edge (very attractive, a high powered job title at a high profile company, excellent Chinese, etc.).

If I had to guess what sort of western guy had the chance to make the biggest 'quality upgrade' from what's available to him here vs. back home, I would say it is the very average to below average looking 30 something guy who is willing to be serious with the right girl.

I used Yuki many times - you can find her phone number somewhere in this thread and she advertises in the daily newspaper as Yuki and friends (or PM me).

She'll ask for 5k but will settle for 3k. Service has been pretty good (one dead fish out of 7 so far). If it is after Midnight, you may have to go downstairs and pick her up because hotel security might not let the girl through. At least that's how it is in the Grand Hyatt where I usually stay.

If you happen to be really rich, go to the Red Horse KTV and take a girl out but be prepared to pay upwards of 15k.

i have stayed at all three of these hotels and i can say that they're great for that short time stay. prices range from 450nt~1000nt (2~3 hours/varies). depending on the room type you want, but it's all pretty nice. if you don't have your own "company" available and you'd like the front desk to arrange it, then maybe you should consider the small hotels close to lin shen n. rd. or maybe even venture to taipei county.

most "motels" in taipei are quite classy nowadays and wego motel is one of those places. a bit too pricey for my taste since a i want is a decent room and a nice bed.

on a final note, there's the moon hotel(don't know the english name) next to exit #2 of the mrt station- taipei city hall. remodeled last year, i went a few times, you can actually hear what people are doing when you're walking though the hallway; and i'm sure we all know what that is. but prices are reasonable at about 550 for 2 hours and rooms are nice and clean.
