Just back from a 2-day trip to Taipei. Stayed at the Imperial - Lin Shin Bei Lu. Checked out the massage parlours/pubs on the perpendicular & parallel roads.

It's not hard to get "V" or "C" in Taipei. I look for a small pharmacy and walk in and ask for it by name. (I know only a dozen or so Chinese characters, but do speak enough Mandarin for simple exchanges.) Most places will have both.

Just today, I was shopping in Guanghua, and looked around for a pharmacy. Found a one near Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT station (lane 56 of Xinsheng South Rd, if I remember). Paid NT$1800 for 4 20mg tablets of "C", which I prefer.

I have always had good luck hanging around the front entrance of the Sheraton.
