As the Longshan Temple area is ramping up for the Lunar New Year celebration which looks to be grand, it appears that many upgrades in the area are underway. Not sure if they are temporary or permanent.

There are a few places to get tested, and it depends on what you want to test. There is Minsheng clinic in Songshan Taipei that does anonymous testing, it's quite expensive (5-7 K NTD) and exposure has to be more than 10 days ago. If it's longer, like a month or more, then the cost goes down.

Hospitals can do it as well, just go see a GP and ask for a STD test. Some of them you need to convince to do the tests, as they just feel it's not needed. Cost should be around 300-500 NTD depending on the hospital, and results will be on NHI.

I had some shitty experiences in Wanhua, not going to lie. But you have to take the place for what it is. Once you get more familiar with how things work there, then you will find some beautiful and genuinely skilled providers.

Just like Amazake said, it's a low-budget street food place where you can grab a quick bite. There's a good chance that on some days you just won't find what you are looking for. If that happens, I'll usually just go home and call it a day. Yet there is lots of variety and a pretty steady flow of fresh talent from TH or VN. They will usually stay for 2 weeks and return for a couple of times per year. If you find one you like, ask for her LINE and she'll be happy to message you when she's back in town. You have to see the Taiwan scene for what it is, and take it with a grain of salt. Make the best of it.

What is available, while not being prime rib, is still still basic meat. And, scraps of meat can still be rendered "tasty" if you prepare it right, stew it maybe.

I am no expert. I know nothing of what is done electronically. From what you younger guys report on this site, quality and youth is available at prices I am unwilling to pay. Hence, Wanhua, albeit not Las Vegas, is an alternative.

I never went to places like Caesars or the like, Linsen North Road, and seldom visit the higher end spas.

I am relegated to the streets of Wanhua, mostly. Yeah, it's mostly "junk food," if you may. But, it's the only game in town for myself. So, I take it for what it is and make the best of it. I surely ain't savvy enough to hop flights to Vietnam and Thailand, Philippines and the like, and play around learning and testing those streets. I only have where I am, and I make the best of it. I study what is before me. I am okay with it all. I am happy to have this outlet. I am not fussy. I don't need the "crème de la crème. " The "girl next door" has always suited me just fine. She gets just as hot as any princess when tickled right and treated with respect. She unleashes her nectar and passion, not because of me, (sometimes in spite of my presence) but because she is a natural woman designed by nature to do that.
