    Majestic Grande

After much reading from this forum, I finally decided to book "Majestic Grande Hotel" for my friend's "end of bachelorhood" party in Bangkok as this hotel seems to be girl-friendly and located close to the actions.

To make the trip more complete, could fellow brothers in this forum recommend me some soapies, oil massage, and "go-go" bars nearby the said hotel. We have 4D/3N to experience a great sex-adventure in Bangkok.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Giotto's Forum

All comments appreciated, but this is the "Bangkok Hotels" thread. I think we should move all the further discussion of the issues to the related threads of Giotto's Forum.

On a serious note, the website is loading quite quickly by Thai website standards now, compared to before. But the photos are still painfully slow to load. Have you considered hosting the site abroad? Those pages would load in two or three seconds on broadband from a European/North American server.

    Good to be home

Just back from 6 days in a village somewhere between Turkey and Iran with Wildcat and Wildkitten visiting family, and the only internet access was hours drive away, so I had to live a real life for a while. Good to be back and catching up on my ISG reading.

I have a trip coming up soon to Australia, and I was determined to have Singapore LAYovers because of the great times I had there with Indian and Sri Lankan girls recently, but what the heck, Terry reminded me of the good times at Livingstones Lodge, so I think it's time I made some trouble there again.

O.K. Guys - This is a Hotels thread.

Without trying to be at all controversial ....

LL can be a great place to meet up with other ISGers, if they are your type.
I'm not sure which Hotels are best to avoid ISGers, but I have been trying a few when with GF. Recent ones I have preferred are Grand President, and S15.

Many others are too close to mongering areas, Internet too expensive, or inconveniently located. Sometimes I want to be relatively safe from bumping into the wrong BG at the wrong time.

Bangkok is too small. Could easily bump into the wrong person at MBK or Panthip Plaza.

Thats why I really feel safer mongering at Soapies and Oilies and if they are in another district like Ratchada or Rama 9 even safer.

    Definitive Pluses:

    1) You can bring as many guests as you wish (threesomes are encouraged, as long as you are not screaming too hard), and entrance is very discreet.

    2) Internet is free and well functioning, including next to the pool.

    3) You can sit next to the pool, in the shadow, there are power plugs to connect your PC.

    4) Pool is warmed up by the sun - unlike the pools of high rise buildings which are always in the shadow and therefore too cold to have a pleasant swim, floating on a buyo and sipping your beer. Also no children are splashing around.

    5) There is a good in-house stable with quality girls. Management will not push for you to use it.

    6) Mister Giotto is there to recommend you a few good alternative mongering places.

    7) Rooms with double jacuzzi - not many hotels feature that.

    8) Very high quality beds.

    9) Very helpful and friendly staff, perfect cleaning of mess left in room (but I still politely remove the used condoms from the floor and hide the vibrating toys out of direct sight for not shocking the maids).

    10) Restaurant serving quality food in a romantic setting around the pool, where you can sit and smoke a good cigar.

    11) It is small, so if you forget something in your room you don't have to spend 5 minutes walking and waiting for a lift.

    12) Breakfast is included and served until the afternoon around the pool. It is simple (no big buffet), but decent scrambled eggs.

Now - some factors to take into consideration to put Livingstones on the hard competitive map of restaurants and hotels in Bangkok.

    9) Not too cheap. I personally find the value for money very good, but it is not suitable for all budgets.

    10) Swimming pool is lacking beach chairs with plush towels for sun tanning.

    11) Rooms furniture is a bit spartan, and no much closet space.

    12) No remote control for airco.

    13) It is not the hipping, flashy design, be the lobby, room furniture, glassware, seats... it has a bit of rusticity, but is all good to me.

Hoping this helps - I personally spend 300 nights per year in hotels, and I still come back to this one for some good reasons.

    Cheers - SWS
    SexWithSmile,

You report was hidden below a stack of useless posts...

One note reg. issue no. 12) No remotes for A/C

The 18 rooms in the main building have remotes for A/C. When we built the rooms in the new building we remembered that many remotes had already disappeared (only God know who need those remotes), and instead of remotes we fixed temperature controls at the wall.

If you urgently need a remote for the A/C - no problem, just move to a room in the main building ...

There is another thread where I write my stories: "Giotto's stories". I try to contribute a bit to this forum. There are stories about my experiences building up a business here in Thailand. 39 stories up to now.

Finally the website of our hotel:

    http://www.livingstones.co.th

But please - don't book it, there are so many other hotels in Bangkok! Contact Terry Terrier for advice!

Terry Terrier: Enough now, please contribute something useful to this forum, don't you think that would be a good idea?
