Thanks Bionicman, Luvpuss, Aries3288, Tratnguyen1 for responding. I guess I will go with Maxim Inn due to thier low rates and proximity to the places I wish to visit. Also, the hotel looks to be good enough. I will be in J W Marriot for 2 days which would be billed to office and later I am planning to extend the trip on my own expense. I am not looking for a luxurious stay anyways, Maxim Inn should work for me.
Regards,
A

if you are are not looking for a high end hotel, the dawin on soi 4 would be a good choice. it is located in the night life area. lots of bars, restaurants, massage, nep on the same soi 4.
rooms are good, free high speed wifi, good service, guest friendly!
i used to stay at grand president and grnad dynasy earlier. but after discovering this gem. i always stay here!
cheers!

And when my girl left the front desk called me and check to see if anything is okay. I had a pleasant surprise there. The Majestic suite never does thing like that when I was staying at M. S. Many times before I switch to Maxim's Inn. The cost at Maxim's Inn is only 1190 baht a night for a double bed with a small safe box in room. The A / C. Is also in good working condition. The only downside is the tiny bathroom, standing shower. I like the soi 7/1 with Eden club nearby and many good looking girls bars on this short soi.

Hello,
I will be visiting Bangkok soon and need advice on a place to stay in Sukhmavit. I have shortlisted the below hotels. Can anyone let know what would be the best choice? Obviously I want it to be a GF and in between or atleast a walking distance from the "night life", the famous MP's and NEP.
1) Best Western Plus Hotel@20 Sukhumvit.
2) Ramada Encore Bangkok Hotel.
3) Tai-Pan Hotel.
4) Hope Land Executive Residence Sukhumvit 46/1.
5) Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18.
6) Grand President Hotel Bangkok.
7) Maxim INN.
Regards,
A

I am looking for a short time hotel (or a very cheap normal hotel) around suk soi 24-26. If any direct experience of allowing 2 girls at the same time even better.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Another are another 1 or 2 down Soi 5.
They charge per item, not by weight.

This question has been answered before in the forum. You will find lots of laundromats with staff service in Bangkok. Just explore the area around your hotel and you will find at least one, if not more, such laundromats. You just drop your clothes and you will get them back all cleaned up and nicely packed after a few hours. The payments are made based upon the weight of the clothes taken together.

Posts: 115Laundromats in Sukhumvit area?
Can anyone let me know how common "laundry shops"/laundromats are in the Sukhumvit area? Preferably laundromats with staff service not self-service.
I'm planning 7 to 14 days in Bangkok sometime this year. Lots of great hotel info on this thread thanks to many great posts. But most of these places wouldn't have a washing machine and dryer in room.
I'm wondering if I should get an apartment with washing machine (at Adelphi Suites for example). Or, are "laundry shops"/laundromats common in the Sukhumvit area? In which case there's no need to get an apartment with a washing machine.
