I stay in condos at Mid Town Asoke. 1100 thb a night, kitchenette, about 60 sq meters but no safe and it's an older building. 7/11 and many snack shops below. I use the motortaxi to get there from T21 for 15 thb.

I'm just finishing up a three night stay at Sukhumvit Suites. This place is located on Sukhumvit, a 30 second walk from Soi Cowboy. The reason I stay here sometimes is that I can take the airport link to the BTS station to the hotel. No need for a taxi to / from the airport. I prefer not to deal with Bangkok taxi drivers especially when going from my hotel to the airport. Don't mind saving the B800-B900 roundtrip for the taxi cost either. It's a one minute walk to the MRT. Terminal 21 and the BTS Asoke station is a 3 minute walk. BTS can be accessed without walking in the rain thanks to a covered walkway or an air-conditioned shortcut via the Interchange building next door (no steps and air conditioned all the way). You don't need to walk across busy Asoke road for the BTS / Terminal 21.
Price was B1900 for a Superior room. The room is very modern with a nice bathroom and a decent sized walk in shower. You get 2 free water bottles and two free toothbrushes daily. There is an in room safe and the TV has CNN International. There were a few other English language channels but I didn't watch much TV. The deluxe room is much larger for an extra B600.
One thing to mention. Rooms here sometimes show a list price of B3000 even on the hotel website. Just call or email them directly if you don't see the B1900 rate. Being super close to the BTS and MRT make this a great value.

We have quoted web sites that list GF Hotels, or list those not friendly before on this forum. I can't be bothered to do a search for those sites yet again, but they are there. Yes it is not the easiest thing to search for on this forum. If I search, I use the function Thread Tools - "Show printable Version" - 1000 posts, then text search that , which was highlighted to us by the famous Nic Frenchy.

Any advices would be welcome.

I have used Citadines Soi 11 and Adelphi Soi 8 on my most recent trips, both would be repeats and recommended- I think Adelphi has a great breakfast and is on an interesting Soi close to several bars, good restaurants (even the leased restaurant in the Hotel), massage shops, BJ bars and easy walking to Soi 4/ Nana. Citadines has two types of rooms- one bedroom and studio as does Adelphi- you may want in the studio in Adelphi as it is large and modern with large big windows. Both are relatively close to Suk / Nana and skytrain. Both are non-worldwide / US hotels which I like- seem to be Thai operations and well operated.

For just a little more Hyde Apartment Soi 11 was just over 4 K for 2 nights, also highly rated, and get apartment with kitchen etc.
Aspira Soi 11 is cheaper than Citadines but also highly rated.
Plenty of choice.
I would tend to skip Grand Business Inn and Ambassador as probably not best value. Grand President also does not appeal any more.
I would never stay in a lower Soi on the the odd Sois side of sukhumvit, Soi 11 is my lower limit.
Even Sois is different but problematic for getting in and out easily in traffic and one way sois.
