Looking for some advice from this experienced board. Heading to BKK in a month for 10 days, been looking forward to this trip for a while. Read probably way too much about hotels / locations / etc and my heads spinning. Contemplating staying in two places and hopping around, but would rather find a good home base.
Ideally looking for a place with a pool and gym to keep occupied in the morning / afternoon. And want something in walking distance to Thermae and Cowboy. Sure I will visit Nana as well. Dream hotel is top of the list right now and seems to meet the requirements with a breakfast.
Breakfast there any good? And, should I expect bargirls to make the walk back from Cowboy or Nana to Dream, or should I factor in having to taxi around? Google shows 10 min walk, is that going to be a point of contention with the ladies?
Thanks!

If you stay at the tower across the alley Grand President has no security, which I liked but you may not. Breakfast was OK.

Posts: 82Also consider Paradiso Boutique Suites it is in between Nana & Soi cowboy amazing location lovely rooms & very affordable I got a good deal for THB 1000 per night & of course it is guest friendly the best part is if you are too tired then you have Therma bar exactly opp just have to cross the road & you have plenty of freelancers there.

Hello friends,
My Bangkok visit after Pattaya falls on January 2nd to 5th. I stayed at hotel grand president last time. I like hotel ambassador too. Which one of these are better if My requirements are.

2) fitness center.

4) of course girl friendly with Max 2 girls allowed.
Also kindly tell me any other choice worth value for money, Preferably located at Sukhumvit near Nana.
Rates would be 2-3 k baht per night.
Kindly suggest me good options friends.
Thank you.

Stayed here for a night. Can be avoided- there were no chairs, no locker and the guy was pushy about the upfront payment. I kind of mis placed my access card and they re-issued a new one. When I found the old one back, they couldn't re-activate for a long time. And every time, I had to walk down from the 3rd floor. No lift either.
Complimentary breakfast including a bulls eye (sunny side up), 2 slices of bread, a piece of and unlimited tea / coffee / juice. The only saving grace is that it's right outside the Hua Lampong BTS station.
