Posts: 3040The Weston Hotel, which is part of the Sheraton Group, is another good choice. The rooms are large, the breakfast buffet is tasty, and the Weston is signifiantly cheaper than the Sheraton across the street. The Sheraton has a nicer swimming pool.

My pick would be the Sheraton Grande. It is a brisk 8 to 10 minute walk to Nana from the Sheraton.
For food and people watching options, Terminal 21 is across the street. You just have to cross Sukhumvit using the pedestrian bridge.
When you walk from Sheraton towards Nana, you will pass The Landmark. This Hotel is also highly rated and much closer to Nana.
I have not stayed at The Landmark, so I do not have any personal experience or recommendation.

I'm currently planning my trip to Bangkok / Pattaya later this year and I'm currently considering staying at both Sheraton Grande Suk and Crowne Plaza during my trip. I know with Sheraton will be close to Soi Cowboy plus Nana isn't too far away and Crowne is close to LK Metro. Both GF? Appreciate the info!

Of course if you book through Hotels.com you get a free night for every 10 so that also works out to be a considerable discount better than 10% in many cases, and you can choose a property that is a bit better than Nana Hotel.

I stayed here last week for 7 nights, only been around for 8 months.
Walking; 9 minutes to Soi Cowboy, 6 minutes to Thermae, 15 minutes to Nana and a short BTS (one stop) to Soi's 22, 24 and 26.
Great staff, big rooms, quiet, good laundry service, great showers / bathrooms, excellent aircon and pool on roof was big plus a courtyard bar as well.
Mainly Chinese / Japanese guests but a few Europeans as well.
Off Soi 19 about half way down, T21 is at the top, as is BTS, 711, a pub, small beer garden further down and a couple of Massage places as well.
Guest Friendly, brought several girls back and had several escorts, got a few ribbings from the friendly concierge, all in good humour, never any problems at all, a couple of the ladies used the pool as well, no issues.
Perhaps a little pricey at US $90 a night, but was a nice place to base myself.
Will definitely go back.
{Trip report under construction}.

For relative quiet stay request a room on a high floor. At the 1490 rate this will normally get you on the 9th or 10th floor on the non-Sukhumvit side.

Posts: 3853Nana Hotel Good For Long Term Stays?
Would Nana Hotel be a good base for a month in Bangkok or would you suggest an apart hotel situation? I was thinking of trying to work out a deal for a month paid in advance.
Are there rooms that are more quiet than others and what side of the hotel might that be?
Thanks so much.

Stayed here this week. Very cool little hotel about 8 minutes walk to Cowboy. The lifts situated at the back of the lobby don't require a keycard meaning you can have your squeeze come straight up to the room. I had 3 girls over and none of them ever went via the desk. I also brought 2 girls up, one at night, one in the afternoon and was never asked to register.
Breakfast was pretty poor. There's a pool on the roof but I didn't use it between weather and it being too busy when I went up.

I had great time at Sofitel Sukhumvit. Booked thru Expedia had booked grand deluxe with club mellisme facilities was later upgraded to grand suite.
Rooms are large well furnished decorated. Most importantly guest friendly.
Club mellisimme has good collection of snacks I think whatever is present in voila restaurant you will get here.
From 11 to 5 you can have juice, light bakery products, fruits, coffee.
From 5 to 7 you can have cocktails, mocktails, few snacks on the house.
Except for dinner I never went out for food.
Really pleasant experience.
WiFi is strong.

I only stayed there once and had the "suite double" room which is supposedly the large room. It lists the room online as 32 square meters, which seems a decent size. But due to the ridiculous layout of the room, it is tiny. The main problem I have with the room is that it so small that I can't easily make videos in the room. They waste space by having a separate tiny space with a couch and TV in the outer area (I guess that turns it into a "suite"). There's no need for that. They should just make the bedroom bigger. Great location for Soi Cowboy nightlife and visiting Terminal 21. Unfortunately, I didn't try the breakfast because it was not included in the room price and seemed fairly pricey. From my one experience staying there, there are better options in that area. Although I do agree that you can't beat the location for walking to and from Soi Cowboy, I think it's so easy and cheap to grab a taxi at night to a local hotel that I don't consider that to be a big factor.

You can avoid mod post delay by paying your $20 membership and then you can have access to PMs from me and others who are happy to help you.
IMHO, paying extra for Landmark Club Access / breakfast is not worth it (use the cash to buy ISG m / ship). There are great all day breakfast places nearby if you want to step outside. At the very least, you can grab a good coffee and whatever else you like in the restaurants attached to the hotel. Paying extra for breakfast in a hotel never appeals to me because you have to fit in with the hotel breakfast times and many days you may wish to sleep in way past the prescribed times.
