    Seriously?

    Man,

I don't know what it was in my post that so offended you. But I'm fairly certain that it's common practice to book a hotel that's got good reviews when on a good deal. Then later decide if that's the offer you want to use. I can assure you that the hotels certainly won't be surprised / least bit bothered by this method.

I honestly don't understand what's wrong with having a few options. I'm 22 days away from landing in BKK and as such the hotels won't be hard pressed to find guests for the cancelled rooms (not that it's hard in BKK). And I surely won't apologise for doing what I believe is the smart thing to do (and the analogy you used. I won't even bother commenting on that).

    Why reserve 4 hotels?

So far I've made reservations at the Park Plaza, Movenpick, the Courtyard and the Continental. So I would love if any of you senior mangers can help me in my decision making.
Any and all advice will be appreciated.

    A confused monger wannabe.

    Hey guys,

I've been reading the forum for a while now and would like to thank everyone for the information being assimilated here. .

I'm due to reach Bangkok This month for a holiday and still haven't been able to finalise my stay location. So far I've made reservations at the Park Plaza, Movenpick, the Courtyard and the Continental. From the information here in the forum I gather that all these hotels are GF and have had decent reviews, which have now led to some confusion on my end as to which hotel to confirm. So I would love if any of you senior mangers can help me in my decision making.

In terms of what I plan to do while in BKK, I have initiated contact with an escort agency (xclusivethai) and plan to have escorts come in for the first two days of my stay (for both fun and accompanying me and introducing me to the nightlife scene), after which I plan to go and have my own adventure.

Any and all advice will be appreciated.

    AM.

I am assuming Pullman is in sukhumvit Soi 21.

Soi 23 has lots of massage joints. Are they any good? Who knows? Who knows what you are really looking for? I would rather go elsewhere. I have given more than you deserve with such a vague question.

Since trips started to Thailand in 1991, I never actually emailed a Hotel to ask them anything.

Just become aware of which Hotels are "family Hotels" that do not except visitors. They are quite infrequent in sukumvit area, but should be determinable on the web.

I maybe only once ever had a problem when staying in Bangkok Palace in Makkasan maybe 15 years ago or so. It had a lot of Chinese tour groups and was described as a family Hotel.

A Solo Hotel Soi 4 they would not accept a 19 YO visitor (over 21 okay I guess), however was able to check her in as a registered person staying no problem. Stupid, right?

I know this hotel is GF since I emailed them and clarified but would like to know if we need to register the guest as mentioned in their email.
As has been said many times before, if you ask them to put in writing their policy regarding an extra visitor in your room then you are going to get a sanitized message quoting the hotel policy that fits the "no prostitution" regulations. All guests must be registered (that's pretty much a world-wide requirement).

No hotel is going to put in writing that they sanction prostitution (which is what it is) because they don't know you.

    Citrus Suites Sukhumvit 6.

I know this hotel is GF since I emailed them and clarified but would like to know if we need to register the guest as mentioned in their email. All my previous trips I only stayed at four point and they never cared once to register the guest.

    Thanks.

It is hard to recommend when the guy does not specify how much he wants to spend or how many stars, or how close to the action, etc.
Book the newer rooms in the back building. Those rooms are nice and clean. You can access it by the side driveway without going thru the lobby for more privacy.

I stayed there. It was extremely good value for money if you don't need a pool. Compact Hotel, however Room was a lot larger than I had expected. Very decent size. So yes ideal for access to Cowboy, but very low price when I stayed there, a lot lower than my normal budget. Save the money to spend on the girls LOL. I did post a review before I believe.

For sure I will probably use it again. It is a great alternative now to save me using a nearby ST Hotel, but I potentially get the whole night with a girl or two.

Why waste money on an expensive Hotel when it could pay for a lot of fucking fun? LOL

Recommendation from me too. I always stay there.

    Adelphi Suites Sukhumvit soi 8

A good place to stay, nice spacious clean rooms, ideal location near BTS Nana, and very GF. Reception / staff don't even ask to register your guests. Highly recommended!

It all depend what you want to do, visit soapies or girl massage. Depends also on your budget.
