Because of an early morning flight out of Kuala Lumpur, on Airasia, I had to stay overnight at the Tune hotel (the only one hotel in the area) at the airport.

Very-very small about 9m2 and have to pay extra for everything: towels, aircon etc. Never again.

How much they charge for the towel and AC I already book with Agoda for next month 2 night at 17 USD a night double room 14 m2, I know this is a small no thrill place tune have been opening many motel in asia and 4 just in Thailand this yr alone, I hope agoda cover all extra but 17 USD is a 50 % promo price for opening speical.

Anyone stay at the Tune hotel at soi 14 near Asok just open a few month ago look like a no thrill chain motel, room look small and clean Agoda offering promo room for 17 USD a night.

This is DREAM HOTEL on Soi 15. It was ok but not 4. 5 star IMO. They do have a very good breakfast buffet that was included when I stayed. I do not see the phrasing,"new, stylish," for Aloft as a Mystery Deal but they are on Wotif as a "flaming deal" at 2, 472 baht per night with a room upgrade if you book 3 nights. That's for the next 10 days or so. I did not look further. (I got it as a mystery deal at 1900 about 10 days ago.) You guys who are looking for these big discounts in high season are probably not going to find them.

Would you go to an MP and then pay without seeing what girl you are getting? (oh yeah, I forgot, Oilies do that already with the Photo book, seeing as the girls look completely different).

It seems that people take Escorts and out calls from MPs without having met the girl first. Sometimes guys go by recommendations since the girl is rarely in the line-up. Have to admit my first visit to Kristin (Angel) was based purely on a photo, however I prefer not to do that too often. Its a big gamble. Likewise, I don't take the hidden specials unless 100% sure what it is.

I'm looking as well for a no thrill hotel (not kind of Grand Millennium style) in the Sukhumvit area. Only an important feature is to have in my room a safe box (and not only at the reception). Would you recommend one?

Well I'm not going to apologize for liking good food, and like everywhere, great food comes at a price. Sure, I don't fork 3k every meal but sometimes I like to. I'm not the Cheapy-pipi food stall plastic chair sitting type of guy but I understand there are people who like that.

Here we have a point in common. I do like to spend for a good treat. Be it food, car, a girl. I can eventually also decide to eat at a food stall plastic chair sitting. And I am not criticising those who don't do what I do. Sometime you pay a nice meal too much as you also pay for the environment it gives you. But as long as you are aware of what you do, it is fine.

The thing is that it's not that big of a gamble when you share information in places like ISG. I stayed at Aloft on Soi 11 a few days back. I got the room for 1900 baht as a mystery deal. Not too big a mystery either when you read the description on the site. I came on here and reported how to identify that hotel as a mystery deal. At 1900 it was good. The Aloft website listed the room for 3000 ++ and I would not have been happy with the room for that price. It worked well for me.

I am quite sure the GM is under the 3200 Baht Mystery deal as it matches the room size of 38sqm and other descriptions. I am waiting another month to book (try the first night to make sure) either the 3200 Mystery deal OR the Aloft (love the location). Pity the Aloft has gone of the mystery deals. The 3200 baht mystery deal can't be seen this month. You have to go forward in time. Check from December 12 onwards.

If you don't mind, please share the result in case you made a mystery booking, I'll do the same.
