More comments on GM:
-Very Girl friendly. The staff smiles at you nicely no matter who you come with.
-Nice floor to ceiling mirror by the bed as Barko mentioned. No mirror facing the bed however, quite a pity.
-Backside entrance allows you to bypass the lobby and go straight to the lift if you are shy or want to bring multiple girls, which in theory isn't allowed but in practice should not be a problem

Close to nana and shopping. I had a suite in the 18th floor. And the price was a "bargin" with app. 5000 tbh a night. I also love LL but this time I was with "BangkokFantasy" from Escordads. And I wanted to have a nice place. This was it! I will post pictures from the suite and "BangkokFanatsy" asap.

Heaven 4 seems to be a new very cheaply priced Hotel. Room pics look good. Worth a try.

There are other 5 star hotels in Sukhumvit, although not right at Nana, like Sheraton, Westin, Amari, etc. The Landmark is very close walking distance to Nana but not sure if its fully 5 stars (haven't stayed there).

This is the Grand Millenium Sukhumvit. Great deal at 2800. Nice room. I got a free upgrade to a bigger room but that didn't include internet, so I'm paying 500 a day for the net (I need it for work). Still a great room for 3300 a night. A 2 minutes walk from Soi Cowboy.

Shama Hotel on Soi 2. Has introduced a 1000 Bhat ovenight visitor fee. But being that the front desk staff is sleeping when I walk in 3am I guess they will be missing out from me.

Hi all,
I might have to transit in Bangkok for a night but I might think of extending 2-3 nights depends.
But I was there last year during April and hotels in BKK were 2-3 times more expensive as compared to Pattaya.
Also the bars were selling drinks at 200 baht up although in Pattaya there were bars which offered drinks as cheap as 80 baht I'm talking about gogos or even some of the bars.
Have the prices gone down this year?
Thanks,
DS
