However, as is often the case at the high-end bars, the girls want high-end prices, but often the prices are not justified. Hope this helps at least a little.
Some things never change. For example, white guys can't dance sober. And Thailand + bars + girls = pick-up possibilities. Spasso and its predecessors in Grand Hyatt have always offered possibilities. Long ago, I used to stay there.

    Thong Lo hotels

    Hi everyone,

I'm considering going to Bangkok in January to get out of the cold, and heard from a friend of a friend that the Thong Lo area is a nice area to stay. I heard it had a lot of Japanese expats and restaurants, so I don't know if that's good or bad.

If anyone can recommend a decent hotel that's girl friendly, and not too expensive, I would be grateful. My budget is around $80 per night.

    Thanks.

    Air BNB

I am also looking for Air BNB near Soi Nana.

    Anyone has any recommendations?

Prefer high end with no problems with guests.

As for working girls at the bar, it's perfect, would you have, by any chance, an opinion as to their hotness?
Sorry, I can't really help you on that (maybe others here can). Although I once had one of the managers (who I knew from his time working at another Bangkok hotel) show me around the hotel, including the lounge, some rooms, and so forth, I have not stayed at the Grand Hyatt owing to the number of good cheaper alternatives in Bangkok, for example some of the better Starwood properties. I also have not spent any time in the bar (at least I don't remember doing so although it is possible I did years ago) and my information about the bar therefore is based on word of mouth.

Hopefully, someone else here will be able to tell you more about the bar and the girls there.

Did some of you put airbnb to the test when going mongering in BKK?

Would someone know of beautiful places where bringing a guest wouldn't be forbidden?
Not sure what area you are looking in. I have stayed in airbnb apartments for the last few trips, all in Lower Sukh and I had no issues in any place. Just send them an email and check before you book that its ok to bring guests. Foreigners renting apartments in Lower Sukh are usually doing it for one and one reason only

Yes. I joined the Accor membership from the hotel web for free, then log in and booked the room direct from the hotel's website, but I booked it 3 weeks before arrival.

    Thanks for the info!

The pictures the hotel provides on its webpage look enticing. As for finding working girls outside, I'm sure it's quite simple. Experience compounds that a bit though. Girls on the street are usually several grades below average or they would be working directly inside known places. Their mastery of the english langage is also rudimentary and and I would also prefer to be able to entertain even a shadow of a conversation.

Usually, bar girls are hotter and if one does speak to several, it's easier to find a working girl to have a basic conversation with.

Anybody knows if they are working girls at the bar? (yeah, I might ask for a lot, but I guess I want to have lazy vacations and still spend them with style.

Try Agoda, Hotels.com or Booking.com: They have that room for $135 including the fee and taxes. Still not $90, but it splits the difference.

    1) great location. Near bts and mrt, soi cowboy and many massage shops if you are using the hotel back door to soi 23.

    2) great service from staff.

    3) strong wifi.

    4) 100% girl friendly.

Ard 3200 b / night for deluxe premium room.

Having said that, the Grand Hyatt Erawan would be a candidate. It is relatively close to the center of the sex scene (although not on top of it) and does have a bar with working girls, at least the last I heard. It might be the place for you, although if one tried hard enough one might be able to identify a more luxurious hotel in Bangkok. But like most, if not all, Grand Hyatts, the one in Bangkok is up there.
I will check on it right away.

The Siam looks nice. The 1400 sq ft Villa Room is 27,000 baht per night, depending on your dates.
For those who like to get away to a top quality non-glitzy hotel- The Manadrin Orientall in the Writers' wing.

    For glizy modern. The Peninsula.

In my viw they are both strrets above the competition. Having stayed in both (No, I was not paying; my company had high standards) - and having stayed (or visited) some of the other in the so-called top.

    Ten.
