I was reading your reports about Honey Hotel while researching my upcoming trip to Bangkok, and I came across a website for Honey House Hotel on Soi 22 which looks very nice and is reasonably priced. I'm going to e-mail the management to ask about whether they are GF, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience with them. Thanks.

Stayed (or should I say, staying) at the premier inn. Just as past reports suggest, the place is a bit run down. But the AC works, Has a frigdge for your alcohol, and pretty much does the job, all for 800 baht a night. If you book it through a website you obviously have to pay the booking fee to the middle man, which makes it roughly 900 baht. So I booked it for only 2 days to see if I would like it at 900 baht, and now I'm paying 800 baht per night which is their usual rate. I pretty much kept my valuables on me when I left so I wasn't too worried about them taking anything out of my bags while I was gone. They do, however, offer saftey deposit boxes at the front desk. I didn't get one because I didn't want to riske them seeing all the valuables I put in there and then hand it back to them. It's dual key (meaning they need your key along with their master key to open it) , but I'm skeptical of there being another key around. I don't mean that I didn't trust them, its just, I didn't want to take the risk. So I ended up taking my stuff with me which (as most might say) could be very risky as well.
I chose the place because it's within walking distance of soi cowboy and the massage places like, mangos, pink, oranges, angel, and many many others (like right in the middle) and also because it was cheap enough. It's not that I'm cheap charlie or whatever but I just wanted to save money since I'm traveling across southeast asia and I like to make my money last while only occasionally splurging.
Ratings:
Apperance: 3 (obviously)
Friendliness: 10 the staff always had a smile.
Room service: ummm. I don't know. Basic. 5 I guess. The came in and did the job.
Security: 8,
Customer service:no complaints there, the staff was happy to answer my questions.
All in all I might use it again, but I would definitely shop first to see other cheap, conveniently located places. Himalaya inn / residence had a quote online for 600 baht, but they were booked, so you might want to reserve way ahead of time.

Just checked out. This place was pretty good on the whole.
When I arrived at an ungodly hour the concierge was right there to help with bags. They allowed me to check in earlier than I had advised them I would arrive. This was great as otherwise I would have been stuck waiting until 2pm.
I had company come pretty soon after that and nothing was said about it. Actually I had one stay over with me. Yet I was not charged extra for this. We walked out together in the morning but still it was ok. Maybe things have changed?
Out of ten I would give the following ratings:
Customer service: 9.
Friendliness: 8.
Security: 9 (just really good)
Appearance: 8.
As I said in the beginning things were on the whole pleasing. I would recommend them to others.

But if you are looking for a 5 star ST at a very cheap price I think you are deluded.
Non P4P are only cheap if you take them back to your room, and dine cheaply. How do you explain to the girl why you can't go to your room? Seems rather suspicious. Is there already another girl in the room? .
Just a retorical question.
Many the guy told the story that his own room is too messy and needs cleanup very badly. Only the dumb girls would believe he couldn't get it cleaned up, when a hot girl is the potential reward.

Scroll down a bit. Someone recommended Honey Hotel as very cheap. Dynasty Inn used to be quite cheap too but possibly higher than 1K. Ibis?
Its hard to get anything much for 1K that is close to the action. Non-compatible requitrements.

This hotel looks quite new, located on Sukumvit road near the Ploeanchit BTS station. Anyone stayed here? Is it girl friendly?
Regards.
